Charlie picked up her basket as she made her way out the front door of her hidden cottage. She started down the path leading into the nearby woods, only pausing to turn around and enhance her illusion spell around the perimeter of her home. She then went and continued her walk further into the woods, the sun-dappled ground crunching softly beneath her bare feet. The trees were turning those special colors indicative of autumn and the morning air had an obvious bite to it as she made her way around, searching for any final herbs still standing from last night's frost.
Wait, how do they meet?//
(yours is going to be the ill one? maybe have them escape into the woods or fall down a ravine nearby? up to you though)
Sure.//
Roxanne walked through the forest, delirious and jacked up with meds. "Where the fuck am I going?" She asked herself then let out a small giggle. "Oh who cares!" she exclaimed, tripping on a twig. She waves her arms as she falls, Falling into a ravine. "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!" she screeches loudly.
Charlie's head snapped up as she heard someone scream out something, followed by eerie silence. She dropped her basket in her rush as she quickly picked up the front of her robe and began to run in the direction of the scream. Oh please don't be dead. She thought as she approached a ravine.
Roxanne fell into a bunch of.. Is that fucking moss? she thought, touching the spongey stuff. She sighed "I'm probably hallucinating." Rox huffed, trying to get up only to fall down again. "My heads to goddamn spinny."
Charlie reached the edge of the ravine, huffing slightly. "Hello? Is anyone down there? Can you hear me?" Charlie called out down the ravine as she caught a glimpse of someone's hair on a bed of mossy rocks at the bottom of the trench. She quickly started her careful descent downwards; she wouldn't be able to help them if she was hurt as well.
"Hello, I'm Roxanne! I'm also jacked up on pain meds and some other shit! They shouldn't have left the window open." She says, waving (More like just flinging her hand around.)
"Well hello, Roxanne. I'm Charlie," She replied as she finally arrived at the bottom of the ravine. She approached the woman carefully on the damp moss. "Do you think you can stand?" She asked as she knelt down beside the fallen woman, checking her legs and arms for breaks or sprains and her head for any wounds.
"Hi, Charlie! I don't think I can stand, considering that I'm not able to tell what's real!" She said, giving a small laugh and rubbing her wrist. "Crap, a sprain. Possible a fracture." She mutters, looking at her wrist.
"Possibly. Well then, looks like I'll have to take you home with me to treat you instead of addressing your wounds here…" Charlie took Roxanne's free arm that didn't have a sprained wrist and put that arm around her shoulders as she hooked her own arm under Roxanne's legs and back, picking the woman up bridal-style. She then closed her eyes as she drew a circle around herself and Roxanne with her foot in the moss and focuses on a certain spot in her home. "Video meum in domum suam. In circulo sentio. Suscipe me in domum suam." She began to chant in an odd tongue before the scenery began to fizzle out around them and was replaced by the inside of her house.
"Freaky." She mutters, looking around the new room. "I'm sorry about this." She said as she rubbed her arm some more.
"It's fine. Now to the guest room," Charlie replied patiently as she carried Roxanne into a room just around the corner in a hallway. The room was clean and well-kept, though not much personality was invested into the decor. She gently laid Roxanne down on the bed, careful of how she was positioned.
"Roll up your pants and your sleeves if you can." After setting her down, Charlie went to the kitchen and grabbed a bucket of lemon water and several soft towels, along with some spider-web gauze and a roll of tape. Once she had gathered everything, she returned to Roxanne's bedside
Rox had rolled up her pant legs and sleeves. "You really don't have to do this." She said, obviously trying to hide her now uncovered wrists. "Like you really, really don't need to. I'm sure that when I find the hospital they can fix my wrist."
Bump//
"I'm sorry dearie, but the nearest hospital isn't near enough for the kind of care you need," Charlie responded as she first checked Roxanne's legs, only finding some bumps, bruises, and scrapes–nothing serious. "Arms out, please," She noticed Rox trying to hide her wrists as she went to check how the wrist was doing.
Rox reluctantly held out her wrists, they were scarred from years of self-harm. It's okay, you're okay. she assures herself, trying to come up with a way to change the subject.
Charlie stopped a moment, staring at the other scars on Rox's wrist. "Oh, you poor child…" Charlie whispered under her breath before going back to her original mission of checking the fractured wrist. "Tell me when it hurts, alright?" She took Rox's hand in her own and grabbed Rox's arm with her other hand before she slowly began to move the joint around, looking for an angle that made Rox wince or shows any signs of pain as she carefully monitored Rox's facial expressions.
