Hearing his breaths even out, he notices Orion fell asleep on him. Figuring the position isn't quite comfortable for either of them, he backs up against the trunk and shifts Orion to sit on his lap. He also wrapped an arm around Orion again to be sure he didn't fall or something. Maybe Cal imagined it, but he swore Orion attempted to snuggle closer than they already were. His hair brushed up against Cal's skin as he slept. It was quite soft and the man smelt of something sweet. The fresh outdoors were also having effects of calming Cal, and he drifted to sleep as well, still holding on to his precious cat.

Unconsciously, Orion tried to get closer to the warmth. A.K.A. he snuggles closer to Cal, burying his face in his lap, ears occasionally twitching.
