Gavin glared at Jax. "Fine," he growled, stepping around him. Angrily staring at Chloe, he suddenly realized that there were darker green flecks in her emerald-green eyes. He blinked and shook his head, trying to clear it.
No, I can't think like that. I don't like her. She's a brat, he thought.
(XD!)
Chloe rolled her eyes at both Jax and Gavin. "Wait. You said earlier that this game could take years?"
Jax nodded, "yeah. I have no clue how long I've been playing."
"Me, neither," Kenzie shrugged. "They wipe your memory every time you play."
"Great!" Gavin groaned sarcastically. "That's just wonderful. So you're saying that we could have been in here for years already, and we wouldn't even know it?"
Jax sighed, "yeah, basically. But, you two are freakin soulmates, so if you finally want to leave… You have to grow up and love each other!"
I'd rather be with you, Chloe thought. "Fine." She turned to Gavin. "What do you like to do in your free time?"
Gavin shrugged. "Skateboard and play video games," he said. Mumbling under his breath he added, "Draw."
Jax and I don't really know each other, either, Kenzie suddenly thought. She nudged him and told him her thoughts, "Maybe we should be doing this, too. We really don't know anything about each other."
Chloe smiled mischievously, "I graffiti, so basically, I draw."
Jax shrugged. "Yeah, so uh." He ran his fingers through his hair, "what do you like to do?"
Gavin blinked. He had hoped she wouldn't hear him say that, but her smile told him she must have.
"Uh, okay… What do you want to do when we finally get out of this place?" he asked.
A small smile made its way onto Kenzie's lips. Gosh, he's actually pretty attractive, she thought as she watched him run his hand through his hair.
"I read a lot. And I do some acting," she told him, blushing at her thoughts.
(I re-read my character description, JAX HAS GLASSES!!!!!)
Jax smiled. "Cool! I always loved the theater. The anxiety and the nerves once you get on stage, but then you say one word and everything goes away."
"Well, first off I'm gonna burn this building with or without the people in it. Second, I guess I'm spending my life with you." Chloe looked down at the floor.
(I N H A L E)
I m a li v e
(Jax has glasses?! You're killing me here)
“Out of the shadows..the morning is breaking…and all is new..all is new..” Briar r sang sweetly, spinning around the room.
"I know, right? And the adrenaline rush, making you feel every beat of your heart!" Kenzie exclaimed. "So, uh… Yeah, I second Gavin's question: What do you want to do when we finally get out of here?"
Laughter exploded from Gavin's mouth when Chloe suggested burning the building down. "Oh, man! That's perfect!"
(XD)
Jax shrugged, "I second Chloe's answer, spend the rest of my life with you. What about you?"
Chloe couldn't help but giggle. "I mean it! Not kidding."
“I think my soulmate left me..” Brair searched the space for Swan, but no one was there, obviously.
“Oh my GoSh—I’m unlovable..”
Swan popped back into the room after a frightening disappearance where she'd lost touch with all her sentence. She doubled over in pain.
(I did it again! Sorry!)
Kenzie felt her face grow hot at Jax's answer. "I-uh-I actually want to become an author. That's another thing I like to do, I guess. Write."
"Well, I'd gladly join you for that," Gavin stated.
Briar caught Swan out of the corner of her eye and rushed over to her, laying a tentative hand on her shoulder.
“Are..you alright..”
Swan dry heaved, shaking her head. "I don't know what happened, I was just… gone.", she signed slowly.
(@I.C. Fynnheart, could we use Griffin as one of the people our characters are supposed to get together? Do you wanna make up the other?)
(Uh..sure…I don’t really have a lot of good characters, but I'll try.)
(*raises eyebrow * I'm sure they're plenty amazing)
