“Cam… Cam?” she muttered softly, walking out the door.
She quickly realised she had no idea where she was going or what she was looking for.

“Okay. Let’s just give left a try. See if I can find a water bubbler or something.”

Violet was surprised the waiting room wasnt part of the escape room, but decided to follow Cammie out. Unbeknownst to the small group, the private airport that they were at, was the escape room and their first challenge was to find drinkable water. Violet heard a small hissing sound come from the vents and frowned. It wasnt that hot that the need for A.C was required, no this wasnt cold air, it was something different.

Cam sniffs the air. “Ew, the pollen filter must be broken. The AC smells gross.”
She lets out three small coughs, trying to get rid of the unfamiliar, sudden tightness in her throat. She rubs the front of her neck absentmindedly whilst looking around. “This airport is… strangely empty, don’t you think?”

(sorry i’ve been super dead but here’s pax)

Pax stumbled into the airport, found after trying to hide in the bathroom the entire time. Clearing his throat, he noticed how dusty the air was, but he didn’t say anything. “Hello hello hello, ladies and gents, the party has arrived,” he called out, taking a small bow.

Wally poked his head out of the waiting room. "I heard a new voice. Who-" After looking for a little, he noticed Pax. He walked the rest of the way out of the room. "Umm, I'm sorry, I didn't catch a name in that sentence. Who are you? I'm Walter and I accept nicknames." After speaking, he coughed a little and tied a bandana he had with him, over his mouth and nose.

Pax opened his mouth to reply but a series of coughs interrupted him. Holding up a finger, he coughed into his arm until he was done, rubbing his throat. “As I was saying, I’m Pax,” he winked with his good eye and shot finger guns.

Finger guns? Walt thought, _really? He smiled at Pax and said, "It's nice to meet you, Pax." He looked around for a means of a conversation starter. He couldn't really find anything. He sighed and continued to scroll through his phone. He was quickly getting bored and began to toss his head side to side, his hair swishing with each toss.

Cam’s stomach gurgled and she pressed a hand to it. All at once, her survival mode kicked in and her head cleared, focused.
I’ve smelt this before… she thought, and a memory rose to the surface of an old science class.

“Today we’re going to be learning about joint chemicals,” her teacher said. Cameron was excited that day. She loved chemistry. “One of which is called Tytrophendahine. Or Tytro for short. This chemical comes in two forms, a liquid and a gas. The liquid is almost like water, only it has an odd taste. The gas has some oxygen in it, so you can breathe it in easily. If the body is exposed to either of the forms of Tytro by themselves, they’ll be fine. But both of them… is harmful, sometimes lethal.

Cam started feeling dizzy. “Oh God no. Not Tytro,” she said before her eyes rolled back into her head and she slumped to the floor.

@RaysofSun

(Sorry for the double post, but I just realised I had more to add.)
She coughs, scratching her neck violently on her knees. “Who cough drank the water?”

Walter looked up from his phone and saw Cam on the ground. Walter put his hand on his chin in thought. He looked in her direction and pointed at her. "I mean, to answer your question, you did." He shrugged at her. Walter typically didn't handle medical emergencies. He never really cared to even ask what was wrong. He sighed deeply. These ones seem fit for survival, he thought, so I guess I'll ask.

"What happened anyway?" He put his hands on his hips and tapped his foot a little. He was more annoyed than concerned at this point. He didn't like having to deal with people, he sooner would let them die at his feet. Hence why he survived his escape room alone.

Walking over to the other girl, he crouched down beside her, offering his hand to stand. "You good?" Pax asked, tilting his head. Whatever was in the air, or apparently in the water too was nothing good for their bodies.

@RaysofSun

Cam smiled at Pax half-heartedly and waved his hand away, still coughing. “I cough think so! cough cough Once again, cough it looks like cough water.” She bursted into yer another coughing fit and when she stopped, her shallow breaths could be heard as the Tytro continued to make its way through her system. Most of the damage had already been done, but Cam still placed her elbow over her nose and mouth so that she inhaled less of the Tytro gas.

She tried to stand but was met with vertigo and nausea, and she had to stop to catch her breath and cough in a squatting position.

Violet was glad that they were at an airport that meant that they each had extra clothes. She ran to her suitcase, well if you could call what she did in her condition a run, and grabbed a scarf from her bag. She wrapped it around her face to help her and gestured for the others to do the same.

"Ah, I see. You've gotten smart like me," Walmart said, flipping his hair. His face soon pulled back down from the smirk. He looked around, now genuinely confused.

"Don't you think that it's a bit weird for an airport to just have bad water and air? Sure, it's one thing if it were a bad airport, but this is one of them high-quality ones."

He looked around once again and found himself staring through the window. "Also, isn't it weird that there are no people outside, no planes outside, and no buildings for miles?" It all seemed a bit too strange to Walt.

@RaysofSun

Cam had started to crawl over to her bright yellow duffel. It was a slow process, but she was getting there. “Didn’t you cough hear what Violet cough said? This must be the cough cough cough first challenge!” She broke into yet another coughing fit. She knew she was getting worse, but didn’t want to worry Violet.

She grabbed one of her bandanas and tied it around her nose and mouth. It wouldn’t help that much, but it was better than nothing.

@RaysofSun

Using a nearby wall for support, Cam struggles upward into a standing position. She then, still sliding her hands along the wall for support, helps Violet with her search, looking in a different section of the airport.

(So sorry for the really late start reply. I got busy with school.)

Cory wanted nothing to do with escape rooms. He found them fun as a child as it was a great way to spend time with friends or to get to know strangers. He accept every invite until he went to one last year. That escape room had a bit more in store for him than he would have liked. Mostly because the stakes were raised to death instead of wasting money. So after that, he vowed to never go to another escape room again. Then he got a letter to go to another one or get elimination. Cory refused to believe it and ignored all letters. He even changed addresses to try and avoid them but eventually he was ready to accept elimination. So when men with no faces came into his apartment he expected to die. What he didn't expect was to be shoved forcefully into an escape room that was already in action. The dust in the air hit him with full force as he took in the scene. There were about three or four other people in this airport all coughing and hacking as he was. Probably worse as they were here longer. He quickly got to his feet and did a steady jog to the person nearest to him hoping beyond reason he can get some information about the room.
