The footsteps were getting closer. Jessica ducked behind a tree, knowing full well that it wouldn't be enough cover. She held her breath, heart pounding. It was never good when someone was out in the forest this late. It almost always meant bad luck. She knew from experience.

Lata stepped through the forest as carefully as possible. She liked to sneak out and practice her abilities. Even if she did end up messing around a bit.

Taking a deep breath, Jessica peeked out from behind the tree. A dark shape was moving quickly toward her. Had they seen her? She hoped not.

The glare of the sun was annoying, but it made Lance's fiery red hair look even brighter, and that made the girl glance at him. He has just arrived at the Greenwood coffee shop that was managed by a short fat gray-headed man who smelt like smoke.
“I need de-café…” Lance muttered to himself as he scrolled down his phone randomly. “So, I can look busy.” Glancing at the maid, he quickly made his order.

Lucille sat on a high branch, she wasn’t worried that she would fall. The wind would catch her. She sat there, taking in the view and the many scents.

Lata felt as if she were being watched. Strange… I thought no one was out here-
Her thoughts were proven wrong as soon as another body crashed into her, making her fall to the forest floor. "Ow…" she mumbled. She felt a bit of pain, but it honestly wasn't all too bad. She looked up at the stranger who had toppled over alongside her.
"Who are you?" she asked, raising her guard.

Finding at the coffee he wanted was out of stock, he left the store after secretly pouring freezing water on the manager's son, who too was short. Racing through the bushes that outlines the shop's territory, he bounded off into the forest. Putting his fingers to his lips, he whistled for his horse. Seconds later, Lance’s great black horse with white stocking came crashing through the low branches.

Leaping on top of it, Lance could then hear the angry yells of the fat managers. Not looking back, he muttered darkly, “You better have that coffee ready next time, Oliver…”
