Melody awkwardly tried to sneak into the bar, doing her very best to not look like a teenager. "Sir, a lot of people wear book bags, it doesn't mean I'm a teenager. For all you know I'm a collage kid- yes I know there isn't a collage in this town but there is one the next town over."

Wes noticed the young girl across the bar trying to order a drink. He called over to her, “Hey kid! This is the wrong place if you’re looking to find a a Kool-Aid.”
She glared at him, flipping him off.
Calix appeared and sat down in one of the chairs and just ordered a water.
Wes sighed, and pushed past the other patrons of the bar. He went up to the young girl and told the bartender, “Sorry about her, she’s with me,” then glared at the girl.
Calix sipped his water and watched the people.
She glared back, following him in. "Thanks…"
Calix walked over the the other two people.
He led to a seat near the edge of the bar. “What are you doing, trying to sneak into a bar? And who are you?”
"Melody, and you would not believe half the shit I would tell you." She said, sitting down.
“Oh trust me, I’ve seen some pretty unbelievable things in my life,” Wes laughed.
He decided to sit at the bar, and kept his head down.
"Ever had to steal some of a Girl Scout troop's campfire to kill a wendigo?"
Wes looked taken aback. “You know about wendigos?”
He had also noticed another person within eavesdropping distance of the two of them.
"Yep. And some other stuff…"
He decided to order another water.
“Are you a hunter?” He asked, lowering his voice so that the person near them wouldn’t hear.
She nodded. "You too, I'm guessing?"
Wes took yet another glance at the man nearby. He just kept ordering glasses of water. He gave his attention back to Melody. “Yeah, I am, but you seem pretty young to be a hunter.”
He looked around the bar at all of the people there and took another sip.
"Hey, raised into it. We all now ya can't just leave." She said with a shrug.
Wes opened his mouth to respond, but decided to confront the stranger first. He approached the man and said, passive aggressively, “Hey, do you mind possibly moving a few seats over? My friend and I are trying to have a private conversation.”
he stood up and glanced at both of them before getting up "yeah sure." he answered.
