Lotus nodded glancing at the code that had changed with Brooklyn's placement, "You should probably get going. I can only keep a screen open for so long."

Brooklyn nodded before she turned and walked back to her bunk and plopped down. Maybe I can train? She wondered to herself as she got out a book to read.

"yeh, that was not me, i hate being touched" she said a smirk on her face

Amai didn’t hear Carter. He walked over and grabbed one on the knives near Carter. Amai turned to face him. He started to breathe faster. It was him. He did this. He brought it all back. Amai grinned a sadistic and almost insane smile, his eyes, which were full of fire, seemed somewhat far-off, as if Amai wasn’t in control, but completely aware and fine with what was happening, “You know what, Carter?” Amai cooed, “I’m sorry.” Amai put one knife away and pulled out the other one near Carter.

I can't believe I fell for that, it was too good to be true anyway… Gabrielle said in her thoughts.

"hm how to kill a little bloodsucker?" she muttered

"Hey… Kane. Is it okay that I come with you to your cabin and confront to this Amai guy?" She asked.

Brooklyn immediately perked up in interest. Maybe I'll sneak in after them. She thought to herself.

"eh i dont see why not, i mean as long as i can kill him im fine"

she said a wicked gleam in her eyes

Gabrielle was a bit terrified by the wickedness in Kane's eyes, but she went along. "You're not actually going to kill him, right?"

Whatever Carter was going to say died in his throat. He felt frozen, like he was pinned against the wall though he knew he wasn't. He swallowed. "Amai, put the knife down."

Amai smiled, “Oh? Why would I want to do that?” Amai cooed. His teeth were showing in a wide grin, the fire in his eyes burned brighter, “All I want is a little stabby stab,” Amai’s voice grew louder at “stabby stab” as he thrusted the knife at Carter, aiming for the shoulder.

Myra cleverly chose this moment to walk in on Amai and Carter.

(As someone who also had school stuff all day I'm also confused. Are Carter and Amai still in the cabin?)
