"I don't know. This is my first time here." She said.
"I don't know. This is my first time here." She said.
(@Lee+Co, of course it's not too late! Just have your character wander outside and accidentally bump into ours or something like that. All you've missed is everyone figuring out what cabin they're in, and then Marcus spilled his water on Raven.)
"I'm not talking about just here," Lotus said, "I'm talking in general. All sleepaway camps. If I was going to shove kids together like that I would have moved the thirteen-year-olds up a cabin to be with the fourteen and fifteen-year-olds."
(Alright thank you, I'll be with you shortly!)
Raven shrugged, "Well, I guess they wanted to have some older kid to help out the counsler or something."
(I apparently have trouble spelling simple words like counsler.)
(I think all the kids in one cabin should be around the same age. Maybe make them 10/11-year-olds or 12/13-year-olds?)
"I doubt it," Lotus responded but shrugged anyway, "But okay. We can go with that. I guess it also doesn't make sense since all the other cabins only have two years. I have 14 to 15. Marcus as 7 to 8. You just got a lot of kids. Maybe we should check to make sure it's right?"
(Eh okay.)
"Sure, I guess." Raven agreed, stepping toward the door. She walked back to the woman at the table, and held out the list. "Is this right?" The woman looked at it, then at her clipboard. "No, it's not. Thomas type it out wrong again. All of the girls on your list are either ten or eleven." Raven nodded. "Thank you ma'am." She walked back to the others. "You were right Lotus, it was a typo."
Lotus had a little grin on. They usually figured these problems out and felt a little boost of confidence, "Great. So which was it?"
"Ten to eleven." Raven responded, smiling.
Lotus let a laugh and looked to Raven, "You're still in cabin 14 right?"
"Yep, definitely." She answered, then realized that she had forgotten Marcus was there for a second. "Should we go to the cabins now?"
Lotus nodded and put their hands in their pockets, "Sure. We can drop our stuff off."
"We can walk together if you guys want? I mean, not that we have to, I can always just leave, but uh," Marcus searched his brain for something else to say. Why couldn't he just shut up?
"I'm fine with that," Lotus responded, "We can drop by your cabin first."
"Yeah, let's go." Raven said, smiling at Marcus. She had decided he was okay. It's not like he's going to follow me everywhere I go and text me every time he doesn't know where I am like Tim did. How'd he get my number anyway? Whatever. At least I got a new phone before I came here.
(Tim is Mr. Harassment Man by the way.)
(Sorry, I don't think I can be in this RP. I'm already in a lot and I don't know if I have the motivation for this one…)
(Ahh sorry I haven't been active. What age groups are left?)
(Basically any except for 7/8 boys, 10/11 girls, and 14/15 girls)
(@Lee+Co it’s alright!)
(Are we going to continue this?)
(oh, right! sorry, I'm probably going to be a bit inactive. A lot is going on in my life right now)
Marcus thought he could get lost in that smile. It was just… beautiful. She was beautiful. He realized he was probably staring and quickly looked to the ground. He cleared his throat. "Uh, yeah! Let's go."
Lotus gave a nod, "Lead the way then alumni."
Raven pretended not to notice he was staring, knowing he would most likely get embarrassed, although she would never admit out loud that his eyes were a nice color, but that's just because she thought blue-grey was a nice color, nothing else. She followed Marcus out of the dining hall and toward the cabins.
