Avrey laughed, hugging him again. “We’ll try it. And if it’s a little too… toasty for our taste, then we can get a cake from the bakery

Avrey smiled and nodded, grabbing forks and plates for them. "Happy birthday, kane." He said softly, giving him a small peck on the cheek

kane chuckled and sat down " thankyou."

Avrey grinned, taking a bite of the cake and swallowing hard. "mmm… thats… good-"

" your lying." kenji said and stood up " im getting our coats." he said.
kane gave a thumbs up "good try.." he said

Avrey laughed, burying his head in his hands as his face turned red. "Im really sorry Ken , I really am."

" its fine, i knew in the end is wasnt good."

Avrey held Kenji's hand, giving it a squeeze as he kissed him softly. "Its the thought that counts, babe."

kane smiled warmy "yeah ken it is the thought that counts." he said and kissed kenjis neck

Avrey giggled, leaning on Kenji's arm as they walked out of the dorms. "I think Sally's is just a block away."

once they got there hed seen avreys ex, again. he pulled kane closer and picked avrey up.

Jacob sighed once he caught sight, rolling his eyes as he stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Damn, Aves. You can't get enough of me, huh?"

" come again? " Kane snapped back.
Kenji seemed amused " you serious messing with our boyfriend. On kane's bday. Really. Smart move." He said the last bit sarcastically

Jacob snickered. "Oh, it's your birthday, huh sweetheart?" He turned to Avrey. "Did you give him a little present?"

Avrey looked down. "Please. Don't talk to me."

" yeah, don't fucking talk." Kane said.

Jacob chuckled, leaning against the wall. ''I'm just trying to catch up with an old friend, sweetheart. Is that so bad?" He leaned closer to Avrey. "Are you scared because you know what I can do to you?"

Kane growled, " back up." Both him and Kenji said

Jacob laughed. "Who says? Avrey's little boyfriends?" He chuckled again. "I didn't know you could replace me so fast, and with two!"

Avrey turned red. "You heard them. b-b-back off." He stuttered

"look I'ma let you slide right now because it's my birthday, but say another thing and I'll turn you into a pretzel

Jacob held his hands up. “Alright, alright sweetheart.” He turned off, walking out of the store as he laughed.

Avrey sighed.

" you okay?" kenji asked softly

Avrey nodded. “Y-yeah. I just… I hate running into him.”

" tell me bout it" kane said and went to the counter.
