Tera saw the short twitch of the ear, and realized the player's race probably had enhanced senses. She'd have to be extra careful. Just then, she stepped on a twig, breaking it with a large SNAP! Tera quickly darted up the nearest tree so the other player wouldn't see her.

Isadora slung her bag down, dropping it beside her bed and made her way over to her desk. She couldn't wait to get onto Delta Space! She put her VR headset on and sat down. She'd only been playing for a few weeks but she was already addicted.
She logged into the game and was walking through the forest when a strange feeling took over her arms and legs and she heard a wooshing sound.
Startled, Isadora reached her hands up to her face, expecting the familiar feeling of vertigo as she took her headset off, but she couldn't feel it! Instead, she could feel a BEAK? what?
Isadora took a few deep breaths trying to calm down, but it didn't work. What the HELL was happening?
@iEchoX
Callie's head snapped towards the sound of a twig snapping. Someone was here. Without a second thought, Callie ran towards the nearest safe zone: a village near the edge of the forest.

Tera saw another player a couple hundred feet away. The player looked confused, so Tera concluded they just figured out they couldn't get out of the game.

Tera looked back only to see her target running to the safe zone. She had missed her chance.
@iEchoX
Callie collapsed in the safe zone before she left it, she would have to figure out what was going on, and how to use her abilities as a Mage to defend herself.
@BookAddict
Isadora hated the safe zones, but she was definitely NOT at the top of her game right now. She needed to set aside her pride and take some time out to figure out what was happening.

Tera saw the other player also running towards the safe zone. She decided to follow them, it wasn't like she could kill them, but at least she could watch them.

Sage happily bounced across her room. She had finally gotten enough money to get the newest hit game: Delta Space. She was so pumped! She shut her door and ran over to her laptop, inserting the disc and downloading the file. The loading bar hit 100% and she was overcome by brightness and then consumed by darkness.
@iEchoX
(I think it would be cool if you activated it with your mind, and it popped up as a screen in front of your eyes that only you can see)
@BookAddict
(can we still activate the menu even tho we are inside the game?)
@kawaiisenpai
Andronika logged into Delta Space, the game she'd been waiting months to get. As soon as she was logged in, she checked her inventory. Still there, she thought with a sigh when she saw her trusty sword.

Sage spawned into a beautiful scene, a small village. She looked around and spotted a girl walking away from it.
@kawaiisenpai
Andy ran towards a small village in the distance, seeing another girl on her way there. She was quiet as a mouse, following her.
@iEchoX
The nice thing about the safe zones in Delta Space was that they had training grounds- places you could practice your Magic, swordsmanship, or whatever fighting skill you used without harming others, or others harming you. This is where Callie headed. She opened her satchel and pulled out a long, wooden staff. It had a decorative crystal hovering above the top of the staff, wooden vines caging half of it. Feathers and tassels were hung from the wooden caging, adding to the beauty of the staff.
For once, Callie was thankful that she was an absolute Delta Space nerd and knew all of her spells and how her character moved while performing them off by heart. With that, Callie attempted to cast a simple wind-related spell. It didn't work the first time, but as Callie tried again (and again) it finally did. White wisps of magic left her staff and with her direction, lifted up a training dummy. Callie knew what this meant, she had to train in her new body and get used to it pretty quickly before she tried to work out what was going on, otherwise, she would be killed and she didn't know if she would be able to respawn again- she certainly wasn't going to risk it.
@kawaiisenpai
Andy stopped by a training ground, seeing a girl with a decorated staff. Her footsteps on the stones had been much louder than she'd intended, and just as the girl looked up, she was gone in a flash.

Tera watched from the rooftops as the girl pulled out her staff and tried preforming spells at the training grounds. She noticed another player stalking the same girl. The armor she wore and the sword in the scabbard made it seem like she was a warrior class. Tera knew she'd be better at dueling the target, so instead of a regular assassination, maybe the warrior could duel the mage and kill her for Tera…
@kawaiisenpai
Andy felt herself being watched. Rather than turning towards her subduer, she called to her hand a small minion and whispered to it. It poofed out of sight and she smirked mischievously. The creature appeared in front of the attacker and cast a spell on them. It was a stunning spell and didn't last long. Just a warning to stay away.
