(mornin'!)
"Great," Phoenix sighed, running her hands over her face, "What about our parents? Can you get a scope of where they are compared to our current location and the satellite?"
(mornin'!)
"Great," Phoenix sighed, running her hands over her face, "What about our parents? Can you get a scope of where they are compared to our current location and the satellite?"
Lucille waited for her coffee to finish brewing.
"Lucille, can you get me a cup, too?" Phoenix called.
“No. Get down here yourself, I can brew it. Get your own cup.” Lucille yelled, it sounded tired.
(morning) "If we're lucky, we won't have to see your parents. The meltwood usually deters any creatures that live around it, and I would assume that applies to your parents," Cyprus said
Phoenix laughed humorlessly, "You've never met my parents," her eyes darkened, "Knowing them, they've somehow managed to use the meltwood to their advantage."
"Ugh. Lovely. Nothing like trying to get a satellite back from a sentient forest and horrible parenting," Cyprus groaned
"I feel like we're in a Star Wars movie," Phoenix said with a sigh, "And we're just now realizing the power of the Dark Side."
Lucille entered again, drinking coffee.
"Star…Wars?" Cyprus asked. Jay facepalmed.
"It's a movie you idiot. Well, more like a lot of movies."
"Cyprus hasn't seen Star Wars?" Phoenix asked, momentarily distracted. "Do you know what that means?!"
“I haven’t either.” Lucille shrugged.
"Why watch movies about wars in the stars when you've lived through so many?" the ghost asked. Jay shrugged
"You just don't appreciate a cinematic masterpiece," Phoenix muttered, then shook her head and rolled her shoulders. "Anyway, we need to make a plan."
"I think we should prepare for a fight. The meltwood makes all kinds of monsters, and it won't hesitate to try to use them against us," Jay said
"So, to summarize, we need to get the satellite, avoid my parents, and not be consumed by a sentient forest?" Krystal said, sighing deeply.
"More or less. It shouldn't be that bad, the satellite's pretty close to the beginning of the meltwood."
"Well, that's something, I suppose," Phoenix said, frowning, "Could you scan the planet again to see where the palace is in comparison to the satellite?"
"Palace? Uh, okay." Jay scanned the planet again. "It looks like we got lucky. The palace is almost on the other side of the planet
(Lol hi guys! And Krystal???)
(I think it was just a typo or something)
Lucille drank her coffee.
(Lol Lucille.)
Addison sighed in relief. Then she had a horrible thought. "Phoenix what about the people? I remember that Dad used to kill people just for fun." She shuddered.
(Lucille is like, * sips coffee tiredly * “Ugh, children.)
