"Yeah, no. I'd rather have 'cotton candy hair' than take an unknown substance."
"Yeah, no. I'd rather have 'cotton candy hair' than take an unknown substance."
“How do you have that? What is going on.”
Jay shrugged. "Your loss. Just, y'know, that might be a side effect of something deadly. No biggie. I'll just drink it all to be safe." Even though he was already starting to go back to normal, he uncapped the flask again
"Actually…..I might take some. I never know. If it works for you, it might work for me."
“… well I’m invisible.” Lucille grumbled, going away from the door to get the others.
Jay handed the flask to her, color now back to normal. "Well, good to know the planet can turn people into flashing neon signs."
Jasmine takes a swig of the flask, yet after 5 minutes her hair and eyes still haven't changed. "Well, maybe they're like this for a reason."
Jay shrugged. "Guess the universal antidote thing isn't so universal."
Jasmine spots something a little way off. "Hang on," she says, and takes off at a jog. She's there in two seconds. She looks back at the team and they are about a mile from her. She jogs back and is there in two seconds again. She looks confused.
"You find something?" Jay called from the ship
"I thought so. But that's not what I'm confused about. How did I get from here to there in 2 seconds and take 2 seconds to get back?"
"Uhhh…I have no idea. Ooh wait, lemme try something!" He got up and instead of using the hangar steps, he just fell forward. There was a small flash, and he somehow ended up next to Lavender.
"Dude, I can't teleport normally. I don't have super speed normally." Jay started to giggle like a little kid. "This is so cool!"
Jasmine jumps off the hanger. Instead of landing on the ground, she lands on thin air. "Ok, so either I can fly, or I can control wind. Maybe I can control other elements too….." She says, mainly to herself. She points her palm at the ground with her eyes closed, imagining a tree shooting up from it. When she opens her eyes, there is a giant tree where her palm is pointed at.
(Jay has super speed?)
(he's trying to figure out if he teleported or has super speed if that makes sense) "Oooh, that's so cool! Um…" He pulled his sniper rifle off his back and stuck it straight up into the ground. He then touched the top of it, and it glowed and sparked. "I can kinda do that normally…never mind!" The gun started to shift, and in a moment it had somehow become a machine gun
(ooohhh ok. that makes sense)
"Oh, okay. Uhh…Let's try this!" Jay put his hand out in front of the gun, and it shifted back into a sniper rifle. As soon as it did, he saw his reflection in it. "Aww, man!" His eyes had changed back to their previous odd colors, and his hair and strips of purple and orange in it. Splotches of his scars had changed color too
"Maybe you should just accept this. I mean, I have 'cotton candy hair' and eyes that look like a galaxy, so…." Jasmine says, placing a hand on Jay's shoulder.
Jay groaned. "Ugh, we've been here 10 minutes and I already have a love-hate relationship with this planet. It could have at least left my eyes alone!"
Aspen laughed quietly to herself. “Do you need some help?” She called to Jay.
(Goodmorning)
Addison was staring at herself in the mirror. She, like Jasmine, had gotten a change of hair color. Her hair was now a mix of blue and green, making her hair look like one of her favorite pictures of the Milkyway. And her eyes had turned to the same green and blue with golden specks in them. Then she looked at her skin. "Uhhh……guys? Why are there tattoos on my skin???" Green and blue tattoos had started appearing on her skin, some of them flowers or animals, but other tattoos looking like some kind of writing, but Addison couldn't recognize it.
Aspen looked down at herself, worried something had happened to her. Nothing that she could see. Grabbing a small mirror she examined her face and hair. Still nothing. Her hair was still black, her eyes still that annoying purple. Nothing had changed. Yet.
Jay took a datapad out of a slot in his leg and started to type in it. "Okay at some point we totally have to figure out what we can all do on this planet. I wanna record it and send it in to a friend of mine so they can study it."
