Okay then, take your time
Okay then, take your time
Thx, I shouldn't be too long..
Skye sighed, jogging through the alleyways. Things had been stressful lately due to the rise in Hunters near the heart of Coris city. And he knew for a fact he was on their radar.
Jeremiah hummed the song he had known for so long under his breath, his brown eyes darting around the place. He needed to find a werewolf, or a half wolf if he was lucky. He needed the money for him and his twin sister, Carter, because if he didn't get any money, they might as well live on the streets.
(Werewolves and halfwolves are almost the same thing, but with key differences… a true werewolf wouldn't be found in the city.)
Skye soon started humming, a strange little tune he had known for as long as he could remember. Soon he ended up back as his hideout, a run down shack in the baddest part of town.
(Okay then)
Jeremiah let his feet guide him throughout the city, still humming the song under his breath as he wondered what he could do to get money. Waiter? Barista? Bar tender? But I need a lot of money quickly.
Skye slipped back outside, watching the sunset. He stayed out for several hours watching as the stars came out as well. Finally he yawned and headed back into the tiny shack, holding his silver amulet set with a violet and indigo gem in his hand.
Jeremiah quickly stopped when he realized he was in the slums and turned around to leave but stopped, the sky was so clear here and it was so pretty. But it was too dangerous, and he could get kidnapped, mugged, murdered, or raped, etc.
Skye sighed, trying to curl up and go to sleep.
Jeremiah sighed and kept walking, it would be worth it and it would be one hell of a story to tell if he survived this night. Let's hope I don't regret this.
Skye eventually gave up, climbing out on the roof, his hair out in the open, a clear indicator of what he was.
Jeremiah looked up when he heard a noise from there and saw a half-wolf. Just how lucky do I have to be to find a half-wolf all by himself? But what do I even do?
Skye stayed out for a few moments, then climbed back inside, curling up to try and get some sleep.
Jeremiah walked over to the shack, walking around it to get a good look. What should I do?
Skye actually started to drift off this time, quietly humming that tune he'd had in his head since forever.
Jeremiah sighed as he bent down to look through a hole and saw the half-wolf sleeping peacefully. But wait, he was humming a familiar tune. Is he…? But how?
The tune died as Skye fell asleep, unaware of danger.
Jeremiah decided his sister was more important and looked around to see if there was a door or anything he could use to get in.
Skye rolled over, his back to the curtained entrance tothe small hut.
Jeremiah finally found the curtained entrance and slowly opened it, praying the boy wouldn't wake up.
Skye stirred slightly, but didn't wake.
Jeremiah stopped dead in his tracks when the boy stirred a bit and stayed like that until he was certain that he was asleep again. He looked around the hut, wondering if there was anything he could use to knock out the boy.
Skye started humming in his sleep again, but the tune was mostly unintelligible. But by the door were a pair of blades, a unique metal, and made for Skye.
Jeremiah quietly went over to the blades and carefully took them out, he could use the butt end of the blade to knock him out.
Skye rolled over again, this time facing the other, but he was still asleep.
