(Go ahead, please do!)
(Augh, I’ll get this up after work)
(No worries at all- I understand on so many levels)
Dustin sat in a diner, nursing a humongous chocolate milkshake and staring at the table. He'd recently, recently being earlier that day, been dumped by his boyfriend. He had no clue why. Perhaps Ryan had found someone else. Maybe Dustin Hemophilia was too difficult to deal with. He had no clue, and he doubted he wanted to know. All he knew was that Ryan had ome back from a trip and broken up with him. A long walk later, Dustin was ordering the shake and sitting here/
And that was only the surface of his problems.
(Midnight just said to have my character burst out of a cheeseburger. Oh dear.)
Barren stared to the gleaming image of Dustin, sadly sipping a milkshake. He wondered what had happened. He wanted to give Dustin a hug. But, he was a devil, and in order to live up to the reputation of his family, affection was a big no. He wondered what else was the problem, and he wanted to crack a joke and perhaps bring him a blanket.
(No– XDDDDD)
Dustin stares at the table sullenly. He brushes his thumb over the small bruise on his arm. He couldn't remember how he got it, and it wasn't important. He got bruises all the time. He sighs running his hand through his har. He closes his eyes, trying to will his mind to blankness.
Barren watches as the poor guy's head falls bag, his hair shuffling. This could be a great transition into his entrance. How did he want to approach this though? Surprise? In his mind? Or should he just hold off? No. The timing was great.
Within a few seconds, Barren sat across the table from an unaware dude. He sat his chin on his big hands as he waited for the boy across from him to notice his presence.
Dustin keeps his eyes closed, staying quiet and clearing his mind. He stays unaware of the new presence with him, still drinking from his shake.
(Ill be back in a about an hour and a half)
There were two evil sides to Barren. The impulsive one, that wanted to smack Dustin awake, and the one that just waits. He was unsure what to do, so he sipped a milkshake.
(Slay, me too. See you then!)
Dustin takes a moment and then opens his eyes, jumping slightly, "Holy sh-!" He glares at the man across from him, " What the hell! Who are you?"
(Or, that was the plan, lol)
“Hiii!” Barren says with a ditsy little wave. “I’m Barren, master devil and supreme giver of hugs! And who are you?”
Dustin glares, clearly thinking this a joke and not a funny one. "Go away."
Barren takes a sip and smirks. “Hah, no. But bestie, spill the tea. What’s going on?” His eyes softened and grew more genuine as the sentence continued.
"I'm not your bestie, I don't even know you."
Barren smiled. “Well then, I’ve got quite the tough crowd! Tell me something about yourself. Let’s get to know each other,” he said, sitting back and folding his arms.
Dustin glares at him, then grabs his shake, moving to a new table.
With a facepalm, Barren decides to skip to the point. "I hear you're low on luck. Care to elaborate? I can help you."
Dustin sighs, “Look, I don’t know you. Why would I open up to you?”
“Because I’m here to help. I’m not going to hurt you. Ok? If you’d prefer to go to somewhere more private, I’m down with that. I just need you to open up to me, unless you want your luck to plummet downwards.”
"How can y luck sink even lower than it is now?" Dustin shakes his head slighlty.
"I understand that. I do. But, I"ve got an offer to make. If you want me to leave, then I can. But I really think you need this. So, what'll it be? Yes or no?" Barren says, munching on some fries he ordered.
Dustin sighs, “Fine. What is it.”
