(well you see I have no life and am bored) Pluto looked back at him, realizing she was still on the ground. She got to her feet, still a little shaky. "I'm about as okay as you look, which isn't very good," she chuckled

Mike didn't smile back, only jerked his head at Perry and Kitty. "Who are they? Can you see them too?"

She nodded. "Yeah. The kid's real, and the cat's the guy who runs the place apparently."

Kaiser pointed his dagger at Kitty. "Pluto, step over here. That cat is unimaginably dangerous, and no doubt the boy is as well."
"Oh shut up, Little Shadow Boy," the cat said. "I won't hurt any of you–I want to help you! All of you. If I don't, you poor fools would never make it out of here alive."

Pluto stepped back, away from the cat. She distanced herself from the others a little too. "Wait. What if this is another hallucination?" she asked, staring at the others with a mix of skepticism and fear. "What if none of you are real and I'm stuck here?"

The cat cackled suddenly, maniacally. "Isn't that just the trouble with reality? Once it betrays you, you can never trust again! But don't worry, they're very real. I'd never lie to you about that."
"Pluto," Mike said, staring at her. "I don't know if you're real either. Please tell me you are, I've been stuck in hell for the last…..I don't know how long, and I'm sick of illusions."

"I…I don't know. I don't know if I'm real anymore. I could be dead and that…That thing could be making me see things…" An edge of panic began to set in the tone of her voice. "I don't know anymore."

Mike cautiously walked over to her, careful not to get too close. "Stay calm. Look, I'm breathing. Nobody else I've seen so far has been breathing, but you are. So's Kaiser, and Red and Asura. I think we're really here this–this time." He stumbled slightly over the last bit, as if there had been many times before now when he'd been tricked.

Pluto stared at him, watching him for a moment. She squinted, and she slowly realized that he was breathing. "Y-Yeah. Yeah you're breathing."

Mike did his best to smile reassuringly. "Good. I'm glad we're all together again."
