A group of teens band together, united by their love for astronomy and the night sky. They spend hours together at night, charting and staring at the stars. One night, a comet passes over. It's the closest one to the earth that has ever been recorded. They watch from their hilltop as it swoops past the earth.
The next morning, they wake up in a strange room. No windows, doors, or anything resembling an exit. They manage to escape, and find that they stand on a small, green planet. Wondrous beings descend and tell them why they've been brought here. They universe is dying. The old lord of time has withered away, and no one has been left to tend to the stars. One by one, they disappear from the sight of these beings, who watch over the cosmos. Someone has been stealing the precious and sacred light, which holds back the blanket of eternal darkness and death.
These few kids have been chosen, showing a special love for the universe, to embark on a quest to reclaim the stars. They will be given tools to help them trek the cosmos and face this evil which has taken their hope.
