(Ik! I was starting to get into this rp too.)
(We can still do it! My character just asked your charcter this:)
Mabel took a seat at the table next to the man and started trying to make small talk. "Do you live here in the city?"
"Yep, been living here my whole life." Damian shrugged, wiping at a bit of flour on his nose. "My aunt owns this place. I've been working here for years." He smiled kindly.
"Oh cool! I'm visiting. Just wanted a little adventure ya know? This place is beautiful by the way." She smiled brightly. "My name's Mabel."
"Damian." He grinned at her. "I suppose it's beautiful, if you're a fan of the cold at least. We don't see many visitors these days. You must be from Arbor City. It's the only safe passage." He sighed, glaring at the TV again. News of the lowered draft age played repeatedly.
"Yes I am. And I love the cold. It makes the warm warmer if that makes any sense." She saddened a little bit at the News but understood that the world wasn't a fairytale and sometimes things went wrong.
Roman looked at Kam and set him on the ground.

(a good challenge)
"Yeah, I know what you mean. I'll go get out the pancakes you wanted. My aunt will kill me if I waste too much time anyways!" He grinned playfully.
Mabel smiled and swung her legs back and forth, patiently waiting for him to come back.
Damian bustled around the kitchen, humming quietly to himself as he cooked. One pancake and a whole lot of whipped cream later, he was on his way back out to Mabel, gently setting the dish down in front of her.
Mabel clapped her hands and thanked him before digging in
"You're welcome! He replied cheerfully. "Just shout if you need me!" He gestured to the kitchen and disappeared back inside it.
"Awesome thanks!"
