Koray shifted in her seat after speaking to Harley - she wished she could stay and chat but as far as she was concerned she was going to be a beta soon and she had to act like she knew what she was doing. She looked around and noticed one of those lone wolves (she believed his name was Deon maybe?) with some little kid absolutely totaled in his mouth. immediately she sprang to action - taking off towards him.
"Deon! Deon! Where'd you get that child?!" she asked as she quickly transformed so she could run faster.
She skidded to a stop in front of him and stared at the battered boy - asking him if he was alright and where his mama and papa were.

"Um, I-I dunno, who are you? Also, why can I understand you?" Max covered the wound with his hand again. "Weren't you dogs a second ago? I don't speak dog… at least I don't think so… Do you know where we are?"

Iris noticed Koray running toward a loner. She carefully made her way over towards where she was running towards. She noticed a small child who seemed very confused.

"Look it doesn't matter where we are - who's pup are you? Where'd Deon take you from?" Koray asked in an upset tone. She figured that kid wasn't from around here… but she might as well check to make sure. (Please don't get mad that my character's targeting Deon! I know he's helping but Koray doesn't… sorry if it seems overly mean!)

"Pup? What're you talking about? I'm human! Just got bitten by something, I think. I don't remember anything before that, really."

Still in wolf form, Iris stared at the young pup. "Koray, he's hurt."
Human? That was why he seemed off to her. She began to sniff the small boy, still curious.

Koray turned to Iris - she sighed "Yeah, let's get him to the pack doctor." said Koray as she motioned for Deon to follow. She didn't really trust the loners but she didn't want to make any enemies before she was even beta.
Koray hurried up next to Iris "What do we do with him?" she whispered under her breath ",Once he's all fixed up? I don't think any of the commoner couples would want him and we can't just release him - he's not going to be human anymore."

"Not sure. He seems scared at the moment, so I suppose we should try and keep him calm for now until we consult the Alpha," she replied. Iris paused, looking at the beaten up child. Her wolf form may seem a bit frightening to him as well. She shifted into her human form, and began walking again.

"Where are we going?" Max winced as he was picked up again. I can walk! What is it with these… dog people… and carrying kids around?

Koray turned to face the little boy "We're going to see a doctor…" she told him her voice slightly quiet and very monotone. She hated it when children were hurt.

"To get you fixed up," Iris added, a warm smile on her face, trying to be at least somewhat comforting.

Aiko huffs, standing and shaking his fur. A faint scent of blood. Along with other wolves. He growls to himself, turning from the scent.

"Not sure. He seems scared at the moment, so I suppose we should try and keep him calm for now until we consult the Alpha," she replied. Iris paused, looking at the beaten up child. Her wolf form may seem a bit frightening to him as well. She shifted into her human form, and began walking again.

Koray caught on and turned to her human form as well.
"Yeah, you're right." said Koray as she turned to check on the little boy.
"Hey there, little buddy! What's your name?" Koray asked him.

"Do you know what happened to me? Or rather, what bit me? Cause' this looks like a pretty big bite." He gestured towards his wound. "Also, am I allowed to walk or not?"

"My name's Max. Don't remember my last name, but Max is good enough for me."

Koray looked at the boy "I have my suspicions about what bit you, Max, but I'll let the doctor decide for sure." she said before adding "As for walking I know it might hurt but you need all the rest you can get."

"Good to meet you, Max. My name is Iris. We'll find out what happened to you soon." She then turned and continued walking beside Koray.

Max groaned. Great, so apparently I'm not allowed to walk. What even is this place? There's a lot of dog people here…

"Oh yes, I seem to have forgotten to introduce myself to you, Max. I'm Koray… so then… how old are you and what's your favourite colour?" Koray said - she had no idea how to try and distract him from the pain and confusion.

"Um, I'm 7 1/4. The 1/4 is obviously very important. And I like… whatever color Cosmo is." (Cosmo is his golden retriever)
