Luna slowly walked over and spoke to the pups, "Hey there. Do you want to play a game?"

The pups seemed to all perk up at this and gathered around Luna, waiting expectantly.
Iris managed to stand up and watched the others play. She then noticed Max, rubbing at his shoulder absently.
"I wouldn't touch it. It'll be sore for a few days," she warned him.

Koray stepped out of a bush to find everything seeming good. She stepped closer to them "Did I miss anything?" she asked. She figured she hadn't but she might as well see. (sorry I haven't been on for a while! I had soccer practice!)

"Mmm…" Max took his hand away, but stayed on the bench. He was too tired for games at the moment.

Luna smiled, "Okay so we're going to play a very fun game. One pup gets to be it and chase the other pups around. If the it pup touches someone else, then that pup is it. Got it?"

(It's okay!)
Iris turned to see Koray coming towards the group. "Not really," she replied with a small grin.

The small wolves all nodded and began to run around.

"How's it feel to be the Luna and the third in command?" Koray asked the others as she sat down on a patch of grassy ground.

Luna breathed a sigh of relief and sat down watching the pups play. She wondered when she would have some of her own, probably in a very long time.

Iris' smile grew. "Amazing!" she replied, ecstatic.
"And you were chosen for Beta! Many congratulations to you too!" she added, watching the small wolves play.

"Thanks…" said Koray with a small smile. She sat in silence for a few moments watching the pups play. "Hey… how long is it to the mating ball anyway?" Koray asked absentmindedly as she watched two young pups hold hands as they ran away from the pup who was it.

Iris' grin immediately shrunk as a light blush spread across her face. She had forgotten about that.

After a little bit, Max fell asleep leaning against the side of the bench. The sky became dashed with red and orange flames, and eventually the last embers of the sun faded into the darkness and became stars.

(SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH)
Iris looked over and saw Max was completely passed out. She stood and set him in the grass next to her so he wouldn't be sleeping on a stiff surface.
