"Havoc. It tried wrecking the AC." Ellen suggested. "That or Lumpy."
"Havoc. It tried wrecking the AC." Ellen suggested. "That or Lumpy."
"Those are nouns, not names, idiot."
"Stop calling me idiot. They work as names. How bout Bill then? There I suggested an actual 'name'. Happy?"
"Bill?" Faye laughed loudly. "What the hell kinda name is that?"
Ellen threw her hands up in the air. "Well what do you suggest, smart ass?"
"I dunno…" She looked down at the thing. "But we need a name."
"What gender is it even?" Ellen asked, scrutinizing it.
"I have no idea." Faye flipped it over, and its legs moved to fit its body again.
"Okay. We could call it Lucy, James, River, Polly, Milo, like whatever. I'm having a hard time looking at that thing and seeing a human name attached to it."
Faye snorted. "Milo. This thing will be named Milo."
Kristen returned with sealing tape, glancing at them as she swung herself up into the ceiling to repair the AC. "So, it's Milo then? You're not going to toss it out the airlock?"
"Nah, might as well not. Apparently, they're bloodsucking monsters that can obey one master and… it can help us with hits." She laughed gently. "I doubt it, but there you go."
"I still think tossing it out of the airlock or selling it is a valid option." Ellen stated.
"I don't," Faye stated thunderously, "and if any of you asstards try it I'll chuck you out of the airlock."
Ellen held up her hands in a surrendering gesture. "Fine. I want nothing to do with it, Miss Murder."
(i'm still laughing at asstards btw)
Faye continued to glare at them suspiciously, as Milo squelched again in her arms.
"But let me just say that the fact that it makes squishy weird sounds is vaguely concerning." Ellen stated.
"Just be glad it's not sucking our spines out of our mouths, will you, Ellen?"
"I'm not sure that's a physically possible feat it can preform, but okay, fine. I'm glad. See?" She smiled sarcastically. "Happy, Faye?"
Faye shook her head. "I hate you, Ellen."
"Right back at ya Faye." Ellen grinned.
Kristen sighed dramatically at then, audible through the ceiling.
Faye shook her head and sat down on the couch again.
"Are you getting the AC fixed Kris?" Ellen asked.
"What else would I be doing, lounging casually in the AC tube? Of course, I'm fixing it," Kristen grumbled, her voice slightly muffled.
