"Well, yes of course Ramus. That is an excellent idea but I believe at the moment we simply need some sort of permanent place for Sari to stay and be fed and clothed."
"Well, yes of course Ramus. That is an excellent idea but I believe at the moment we simply need some sort of permanent place for Sari to stay and be fed and clothed."
"would that be good for you little one?" Ramus asked then he Sari's head of hair playfully with a smile on his face.
Sari playfully swatted at Ramus' hands, and looked up to the sky, then back down to all the people. "I'm fine with whatever works." She just didn't want to make too big of a deal out of it.
"we all want what's best for you," He said then took a knee and stared deep into her eyes. "When I came here I was young too but there weren't that many of us so I had to learn all the skills I know the hard way. I want you to an easier time of it, the choice is yours." He gave a glowing smile.
Sora nodded, listening to Ramus' speech. Usually the woman had little interest in the youth of the scoundrel community, but Sari however…
Maybe it was because she wasn't even considered a teenager yet? There was something that softened her insides a bit with the young girl.
(?)
Raven didn't really hear what Ramus was telling the little girl but saw her smiling and being playful. "Have we come to a decision?"
"Have we?" Ramus asked as he leaned back up, he was one of the tallest scoundrels if not the tallest. He scanned the crowd looking for anything the crowd would suggest or say.
Luna looked around. No one was saying anything. "I believe all we need now is someone for Sari to reside with," she spoke up. "Both I and Ramus have been nominated, and I have volunteered to care for her full time if Sari agrees. Is anyone else volunteering for that position?"
(Do the Scoundrels vote on stuff @Frick_Frackling_Quiznak!! or would they just kinda decide?)
(oof, I forgot about this rp for a minute)
Riverpaw glanced down at the large wolf, who pointed her ears towards the council. "U-um.." She raised her hand a bit, hoping they could her from the tree. "I-I could help? I don't doubt that s-she'd be fine with you, but m-maybe, uh..maybe i-it would help for her to spend time w-with someone closer to her age?"
Raven looked over at the girl and heard what she asked of. "Of course you guys could hang out together, but she would need to have a parent-like figure to take care of her."
"I…Mhm.." Riverpaw nodded and twiddled her hands nervously. Y-yeah, no, I can't do that. I can cook, but I'm no parent figure. She heard her friend huff consolingly from below.
(Do the Scoundrels vote on stuff @Frick_Frackling_Quiznak!! or would they just kinda decide?)
(Scoundrels vote, but when ties the Council members vote)
"Is that all? If we are ready to vote, Raven, would you facilitate it?" she asked, knowing Raven to be neutral and only wanting the best for Sari.
Ok so I'm going to go on a limb and assume this means to start the voting. And i don't know how to do that whether it is all say nay or yes or just who wants to do what. Im confused please halp.//
"Yeah." Ramus said as his eyes watched dutifully over the girl.
(Maybe like have the scoundrels raise their hands or something?)
(maybe)
"Of course, all that choose Luna to take care of the child say Aye and those that choose Ramus to take care of the child, say Nay."
I hope thats fine.//
Sari watched anxiously as the people she didn't know decided her fate. She had no doubt that Ramus and Luna would take care of her… But still.
Ramus stood silently as he scanned over the crowd, he tried not to intimidate any of the others. He only wanted what was best for the girl but he couldn't be sure that he would be that.
Sora drummed her fingers against her knee. This would be the decider of Sari's future here in the Lo forest. It made her a bit nervous as to what would come. And she wasn't even the one who would be hosing the young child.
"Aye!" Riverpaw called, raising her hand along with a few other scoundrels. She heard her wolf yip in agreement as well.
Hearing the voting commence, Sora spoke up. "Aye," she said. Her voice was a bit deeper than normal, serious and forward.
