"6 minutes to landing." Ellis announced. "Looking good?"
"Yes. Everything's j-just fine." Mari's heart was beating faster than usual. "Just fine."
(I gtg ;-;)
(SCREAMS randomly i'm here in monotone)
(I'M HERE)
(heyy)
"How many minutes left now, Captain?" Mari asked, shaken and still hearing Ellis' words ringing in her head. Yes love.
"3 Minutes." He flipped a switch and they dove into the atmosphere. The landing gear creaked into position.
Please, please, please let it work. She kept her eyes glued to the screen, a rush of excitement building up inside of her, but also a dread of failure. "Sounds good."
"Two minutes…..One minute…..Zero." The ship set down lightly, with only the slightest protest from the landing gear. Ellis sighed and leaned back in his chair.
Mari tried not to scream in delight, biting her lip and leaning back in her seat, a small squeal escaping from her lips. "It worked! It worked!"
"Yeah! Good job Mari!"
"Thank you!" She bowed, even though she knew he couldn't see. "I worked hard."
He chuckled. "Yeah…well we should all go out and stretch."
"Yes, that we should." Mari slid out of her blanket cocoon, heading out of the control room and towards the exit.
Gaia hopped out her seat and walked down the ramp of the ship.
(u happy Sly!???)
(Very)
Ellis followed. "Try not to get lost out there."
She saw Gaia and waved, stepping onto the ground and leaning back, throwing her arms over head, stretching.
"How's it going Mari?" Gaia asked.
