Ellen grabbed her jacket, quick tracing a finger over the tag inside the collar that read Grace Weaver. She pulled on the jacket and sprinted to the cockpit.

Gaia stopped awing over the machine and dashed out of the lab. She speed walked to the door of the cockpit.
(What does the planet look like?)
Seth hurriedly put Thingy #201 back in its case and rushed to the cockpit.
(Frick well it's private so I can't link it and I can't paste it from google so just look up "Salt flats at night")
Ellis grabbed the wheel. "Fasten you seatbelts folks!"
Ellen slid into a seat and hurriedly buckled her seatbelt.
Mariko stared at the planet from outside the window, eyes widening in awe. She held onto the walls tightly and hugged the interior, trying to make sure nothing would break.
(Can we crash land? I need to give Mari something to fix)
Gaia hopped into the seat next to him and put the straps over her. She prepared herself to engage the safety maneuver if needed.
(Yiss)
A beeping noise sounded from the dash. Ellis peered at it. "Oh…."
"What is it?" Ellen asked.
"Oh no." Gaia smashed at the controls, trying to steady the ship. "C'mon!" She yelled.
"Uh…well the back thrusters are leaking and the landing gear won't set itself so…" He groaned. "GET READY FOR A CRASH LANDING!"
Ellen gripped the armrests, her knuckles whitening.
Seth screeched and sat in one of the seats, hurrying to fasten the straps.
The ground neared quickly. Gaia braced herself, preparing her body for the worse.
The ship jolted as they broke through the atmosphere. Ellis gripped the wheel, trying to keep on course. His head slammed into the headrest as they made contact.
Ellen gasped as the breath got knocked out of her. Her head ramming into the headrest.
Gaia jolted forward but quickly regained her balance.
Ellis cringed as the grinding sound stopped. "Well…that could have been much worse." He turned. "Everyone okay?"
"Uh-huh." Ellen muttered, rubbing the back of her head. "I hate to see what 'worse' is."
"I'm alive!" Gaia shouted.
Seth blinked. "Um. I think so." She was pale, and her hands shook as she rubbed the back of her head.
Ellis sighed. "Okay. Good." He peered out the front window. "Well, here we are. Everyone out!"
( I gtg)
Ellen unbuckled and got up.
(I gtg too. See y'all later)
