@Mr.Misfit

Elizia called up another whiskey, sighing in relief that things hadn't turned so ugly as she had thought, then took one of her spare shock charges into her pocket, ready to grab in case things still went south. She walked back up and offered the whiskey to the Commander.

"May I suggest you settle down for a bit?" While she talked, she gave the equipment on his arm a lookover. Mini missile launcher, data processing, and what looked like a heat sink to handle temperature spikes from an energy weapon. He was kitted, she would give him that.

A new voice joins the fray. Snorting, a pale skinned, nearly white haired man buts in. "Ol' Jim is as about as dangerous as my left pinky toe, I highly doubt he even knew it was there, or did you forget what kind of place you were in?" The newcomer drawls, gesturing to the rest of the mostly alien patrons. He tips his drink, something purple and amber, to the cop. "C'mon, sit down and ave a drink, I'll pay." The man offers.

"Finally, someone with sense." Valentina waved at him, her entire face lighting up with excitement. He was kind of cute, too. She hadn't seen anyone with pure white hair in a while. She tried to remember what corner of the universe he could have hailed from, but drew a blank. Whatever. That just made him exotic. She grinned at him.

Omorfiá watched the whole scene go down from the far corner of the bar, sipping her Sugar-ale (their version of a Shirley Temple). She laughed at the ridiculousness of the two women trying to get the Star Corps officer to have a drink. They were clearly drunk already, and the one had barely started her first drink. This was why she didn't do alcohol, it numbed the mind and made you do and see strange things.

The white haired man gives Valentina a smile, and in a low, lazy drawl calls to her. "Names Pollux, an if the nice copper isn't gonna take me up on a drink, I may as well offer one to you, doll." He smiles softly, invitation clear in his golden-red eyes. Wondering if she is a Cupid, as they don't often come to Terra. Pollux turns his gaze back on the officer, "Leave ol' Jim alone, yeah? He isn't a threat to you or your Core, Mr…?" he trails off.

@WriteOutofTime

"Pollux," she repeated, drawing out his name as though she were tasting it on her tongue. "The name's Valentina Grandstovian. You may have heard of me." She beckoned him over to the bar, elegantly tossing her half-finished martini to the floor so that he would buy her a new one.

He walks over, with a grace indicative of his species. He motions to the bartender, "Get the pretty lady another drink, would ya? Thanks Jim." His voice is rich and smooth, an accent breaking through. He sips his drink, smelling the delicate spices and rum. Pollux smiles at her, speaking softly. "What're we going to do about the cop, doll? No way to have real fun with a copper in the bar. Besides, this place is sacred."

@Mr.Misfit

Elizia shrugged, deciding to put up with the Commander's stiffness. She glanced around, spotting some maroon-haired woman observing the whole thing. Elizia danced through the chairs and people over to her, and stopped next to her table.

"Heya," Elizia greeted, her words not too slurred for being tipsy, "mind if I sit down for a sec?"

The woman who'd barely finished her drink made her way over to where Omorfiá sat. "Heya," she said, "mind if I sit down for a sec?"

Omorfiá looked at her, then turned back to the scene unfolding at the bar. "Sure, have a seat."

@WriteOutofTime

"I could kill him," Val said, taking a dainty sip of her drink. She peered at him over the rim of the martini glass, her eyes dancing. "But I'm just not in the mood. You think we could get him drunk if we tried real, real hard?"

@Mr.Misfit

"Thanks," Elizia sighed as she sat, relaxing as she finished her drink, slower this time. There seemed to be a bit of a trick to it that she hadn't nailed down yet.

She went through sorting her tools in her jacket, "So, anything interesting happen on this planet recently? I only just got here."

@Ca1iCa1--Is--Tired

Pollux looks at her with a smirk. "Only if we tried really hard, even then he might need a little…help." He presses a foil package into her hand under the table, the pill inside making a recognizable shape.

@WriteOutofTime

Valentina squealed, just a bit, bouncing in her chair. "Ooh, is that what I think it is?" she whispered, inspecting it with a weathered eye. "It's exactly what I think it is." With a cheeky smile, she ordered a beer from the barkeep, inconspicuously dropping the pill into the liquid. Skipping over to the commander, she asked, "Care for a drink? A peace offering, if you will."

@Imperfect_Autumn group

What are they doing? Omorfiá thought as she watched the two tipsy customers at the front of the bar drop something into a drink and offer it to the Star Corps officer.

@Ca1iCa1--Is--Tired

Pollux looks directly at Omorfiá, sending a tentative mind link, hoping that she is receptive. Hello? My name is Pollux, the pill will simply make him fall asleep, nothing too bad. I have no wish for blood to be spilled in this bar, especially by a cop. His eyes, now pure gold, stare at her, willing her to get his message.

A voice suddenly appears in Omorfiá's head, saying, Hello? My name is Pollux, the pill will simply make him fall asleep, nothing too bad. I have no wish for blood to be spilled in this bar, especially by a cop.

When she looks up, golden eyes stare at her from across the bar. Omorfiá nods, signaling that she understands.

@Mr.Misfit

Elizia glanced up when the woman didn't answer, and noticed she had locked eyes with the golden eyed man from before.

"Hey," Elizia prodded, trying to get her attention, "who is that?"

@Mr.Misfit

Elizia let out a low whistle, "Be careful, sister. I have heard some dangerous things about psykers. Strange people, them. Hard to understand."

Elizia should know, she'd witnessed a conversation that resulted in the victim dying. Just fell dead.

Brella hadn't gotten a tiny bit of sleep afterwards, Elizia was so scared.
