Milo looks down at her, shushing her gently as he kisses to top of her head.
Milo looks down at her, shushing her gently as he kisses to top of her head.
She opens her eyes slightly. "I…." she begins, but her voice fades.
"What's wrong, love?" He asks softly, holding her close.
"Nothing…just a dream," she says, holding onto Milo tighter.
Milo looks down at her, "Are you sure, you're so pale…" he mutters, feeling her forehead.
"Mhm….yeah, um, definitely," she mutters.
"Saffi. What's wrong. Pleas be honest with me." He says softly, brushing some hair from her face.
"But…I..It's…I," she stuttered, hiding her face in a pillow.
"What's wrong?" He asks gently.
"It…I…You…I can't," she muttered.
"What's wrong? What happened?" He asks softly, pulling her close.
"It happened," she says softly, a tear falling down her cheek.
"It… what's it, love?" He asks softly, running a hand through her hair.
She shakes her head and touches the corner of his eye. "I think you know…" she says quietly.
Milo's eyes sadden and he holds her hand to his cheek, lacing his fingers within hers as her palm rests on his cheek. "I'm sorry." He whispers softly.
"I..It's fine," she whispers, wiping off her face with her free hand.
He sighs, "I don't wish to be a burden to you…" he whispers, kissing her palm. His eyes shimmer with tears as he bites his lips.
"You could never be a burden to me, I love you too much. I just worry…" she says softly. She kisses the corner of his mouth and sighs.
He smiles a bit, holding her close as he rests his head on her shoulder.
"You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. We'll get through this together…I promise," she whispers, running her hand through his hair softly.
He nods, "Thank you…" He whispers. "I love you."
"I love you too," she says quietly. She kisses the top of his head.
He smiles softly, kissing her shoulder softly before looking up at her, "How did I get so lucky?" He asks softly.
"I ask myself the same question," she replies quietly, kissing his forehead.
He hums, brushing her hair from her face, smiling a bit.
