Darren looked back and laughed. He was happy she wasn’t awake to see his bruising.

(It's fine.)

Lillian grabbed one of his pillows and began hugging it.

Darren sighed, “that’s my pillow…” he whispered to himself.

Lillian muttered with a soft smile, "It's mine now."

Darren laughed, "Are you awake?"

Lillian opened one of her eyes. She said sleepily, "Maybe."

Darren smiled at her before leaping on to the bed. "Good morning." He said with a bright smile on his face.

"Morning," Lillian smiled. She sneezed, "And I'm still sick."

Darren yawned, "Yes that is apparent."

Lillian yawned, "Are you sick?"

Darren stared into space for a few seconds before smiling, "Nope! Don't think so."

Lillian groaned and she coughed into her hand, "I feel fucking awful. Why couldn't you have gotten sick too?"

"My immune system is pretty strong." He continued to smile, happy to not be sick.

Lillian sighed, "Then take care of me oh healthy boyfriend. For I am sick."

Darren smiled, “I’ll take care of you”

Lillian smiled, “Yay!”

"So what are gonna do today?" Darren asked raising an eyebrow.

Lillian sneezed, “I don’t know. What do you want to do?”

"Sleep." He said slamming his face into a pillow.

Lillian laughed, “Sounds good.”
