He smiled a little, playing with his fingers. “It’s just that you walked away, you told me I was the worst thing about your life now and staying just makes me feel like a burden but when I tried to leave things changed,”

"Things change." She smiled softly. "Alright, I need to get this done or else I'll go crazy." She turned back to her schoolwork, picking up her pencil and continuing.

“Can I just… sit with you? I mean like nothing has to happen just…” Big demon wants cuddles? Weak! he didn’t care what Shaxx had to say.

"Only if you want to." She shrugged, putting her math work aside.

He looked up with a smile and crawled in next to her, wrapping an arm around her and moving in close.

She hummed as she worked, writing in her elegant cursive that her teachers hated reading.

He rested his head on her shoulder and watched her write, this was fine, this was more than fine.

She chewed on her lip, focusing carefully on her words so she wouldn't have to rewrite.

He put his other hand on her leg and exhaled happily. Every breath was like inhaling a drug.
