He nodded and tilted her head up gently with his hand. “Are you doing okay?”

"Yeah…yeah I'm okay." She smiled a little. "I'm alright. Don't worry about me, I already have enough people doing that."
“Well I had the job before they did so… don’t tell me what to do,” again, he smiled sweetly, taken away by Ryan stepping through the door.
“Are you ok— oh. Sorry,”
"Hmm? Oh! I'm okay." She smiled easily, like that entire meltdown didn't just happen.
(HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARREN!)
It was times like these Lillian really was grateful for Darren. She could feel sleep start to take over, even with the pain in her gut.
He let out a slow sigh as he relaxed back into deep sleep.
Lillian fell back asleep. She shouldn't wake up again, until the morning.

Cooper rolled his eyes but made sure Ryan couldn’t see. She’d lie to her husband so easily, he could see why Ryan didn’t know when she was upset. He didn’t have the sixth sense like Coop. At least not yet.

Darren has been awake but just laid there, still holding onto Lillian.
It took practice and time to learn to detect when she was lying through her teeth. He'd gain it eventually though.
“Did you guys just run away?” Ryan smiled, a little confused.
"No I…just needed to talk to him about something. That's all."
"No I…just needed to talk to him about something. That's all."
“Oh. I’ll just be back downstairs then,” thrust were talking and that was enough. So Ryan disappeared back downstairs.
"Right, now I really need to get back downstairs but…thanks for not letting me just cry by myself." She smiled a little.
Cooper chuckled. “Of course. If you’d learn to give yourself a break every now and then you’d be a lot better off,”
She rolled her eyes with a smile. "A break? What's that?"
“Hm, not sure,” he joked as he stood up again.
Fleur was in her room, sitting on the edge of her bed. Her phone was in her hand and she was squeezing it tightly. What if he forgot about me? Nonsense! Shuttup, he'd never forget about you… right? Oh, God, he's not going to turn into Phillip, is he? NO! Stop it!
She pulled herself to her feet, stretching slowly. "Nothing like a good cry to make you feel better."
“That’s fair,” he chuckled and moved toward the door. “After you,” he stood aside for her to go down first.
"Such a gentleman." She chuckled, heading back downstairs.
Fleur bit her lip. Her own words stared at her. Good God, just send it! It's the little green button… c'mon.
“I do try,” he followed after her.
"You always have." She smiled a little, giving no allusion to what just happened to the other guests.
Ryan and Elizabeth looked at Belle with the same smile reflecting off their eyes. Cooper went to go sit where he was before he left.
