“Umm. Not sure…” there was a knock at the door that caught Ryan’s attention. “That’s probably Elizabeth and Dalton… probably,”

"I mean, probably." She chuckled.

He opened the door to exactly who he said would be there. They smiled and walked in with happy greetings. Dalton stuck close to Ryan even as Elizabeth wandered over by Belle.

(Guess who's finally getting into Riverdale?)
"Hey Eliza." She smiled, turning to greet their guests.

“Hi Belle!” She cheered, just as happy as she always pretended to be. “How are you?”

"Tired but that's normal." She smiled a little.

“I’d imagine with being pregnant and moving you’re probably more so that usual. Well, and marrying that dork,” she smiled and looked over at her brother.

"Yeah but he's my dork." She laughed. "And I love him more than is probably normal."

“He is Pretty lovable…” she paused. “Unless he’s mad…”

"Yeah…I know." She sighed softly. "It scares me, really. But I know that the boy I love is still in there somewhere so I manage."

“When he’s like that I just have to trust that my brother would never hurt me even if all I see is dad. He doesn’t like ‘acting like dad’ or whatever but I think somehow, spending all that time with him, dad rubbed off a little bit,”

"And he still tries to side with him. I just don't get it. I've seen the way he acts around his father, it's the strangest thing. When he's gone, he absolutely hates him. But when he's here, it's like he's 12 again and is daddy's little boy."

“He hates what dad did to him but deep inside he knows that man was his only friend when it really mattered. It’s sad but when he sees dad all he can see is his best friend, completely blind to what he went through… Ryan, he’s always been afraid of being alone even before dad left him. He clings to people so they won’t leave him,”

"Which I suppose makes me his newest tree branch, the koala." She chuckled. "But I don't mind. What we have is much healthier than what they had."

“Much healthier. I think—“ she was immediately cut off by another knock at the door that made everything silent.

“I don’t want to be uncomfortable if you come with me but I don’t want to make you feel like I’m leaving you behind,”

She looked over at him. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine either way. Do you want me to be there? Oui or non?"

"This is impossible… I'm not even sure you were invited… I don't know,"

"And a silence falls over the house." She muttered.

Ryan waited to open the door to see if Camie would respond otherwise demon boi gonna be gone to Belle's house.

Then I guess we'll wait.

Ryan walked over to the door and greeted Cooper, always a little intimidated by the Anderson height… Ryan's a smol bean especially next to any of the brothers.

She smiled a little. "Hey chicken Coop." It was a childhood nickname she loved to tease him with that he used to absolutely despise.

Cooper shot her a look but laughed playfully, "Hey there… Church bells? I'm out of ideas," he shrugged and patted Ryan's back as he walked past.
