Kameron Stepped onto campus Taking a deep breath she gripped onto the strap of her backpack that was slung over her shoulder. Kameron Stepped Onto the walkway that led to the dorms "187" she said. she'd been saying it the whole ride here careful not to forget it. She remembered when the letter came she was watching tv with her brother when the letter appeared in front of her floating in mid-air. She had grabbed the letter and started to read
Dear, Kameron
We are excited to welcome you to our school. You will learn how to maintain and use your powers. Classes Start Monday be at school Friday
Your Dorm Is 187
And then the letter vanished. she looked at the key in her hand that had come with the letter as she put it in the door unlocking it and stepping inside her dorm
Koshin stalked across the grounds, staying as far away from other people as possible, playing with his necklace charm as he skittered towards the boys' dormitories. He found a side entrance and slipped in, knowing the front would be crowded. He quickly headed up the stairs rapidly for the fifth floor. He huffed and wheezed as he dragged his suitcase up the last one before collapsing next to a wall to rest.
Harper walked onto the school grounds, admiring the buildings, all the while pulling not only her harp, which was actually half the reason she accepted the invitation to attend the school, and a suitcase with some of her personal belongings. Man, she loved playing music. It was really fun to play, and concerts were always amazing. Too bad she didn't have time anymore to audition for those youth symphonies. It was really fun to be a part of something, something musical. But… hopefully they'd have a music program here as well. She paused in the middle of the school grounds and pulled out her phone, double checking the dorm room and roommate's name. So… she was in dorm 201, it seemed, with someone named… Esperanza? Huh okay. She headed into the main building, quickly making her way to the dorms. After a bit of searching, she finally found her dorm and unlocked the door, stepping into her dorm room for the first time.
Esperanza darted through the hallway, looking for her dorm room. Her duffel bag bounced against her back, and her guitar was clutched by the neck in her right hand. She looked like the mess she was. 201, hah! She said, going to run in.
And managing to collide with her roommate. "Shit! ¡Lo siento!"
Harper stumbled back a little, clearly caught off guard. "Sorry… sorry… it was my harp wasn't it?" she rushed to apologize. "Hi, I'm Harper, would you by any chance happen to be my roommate, Esperanza?" she asked, setting her harp down and extending her free hand.
Otis was one of the ones who couldn’t be bothered to wait for the crowd to die down before attempting to enter the school. He went around the back with his case, counting the windows as he went until finding the one that belonged to his room on the fifth floor. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath as he remembered something his grandfather had taught him regarding his Aerokinesis. All of his muscles relaxed, and, keeping his arms and legs together, his began to rise into the air. He knew to move slowly so as to not risk causing himself harm, and soon enough he was perched on the window ledge outside of the window. Someone was inside, possibly his roommate, so he gave the glass a little tap.
Koshin gave a startled jump, his eyes flying open with fear as he held his pink sweater covered hands to his chest, trembling as he stared at the boy in the window of his dorm room. He quickly got up though, scared the other would hurt himself, and quickly unlocked the window. "Are you stupid?!"
( may i join?)
Esperanza nodded, smiling as she took the offered hand. "You can call me Ezzy. Harper, I'm guessing?"
"Yeah. Nice to meet you. Again, sorry about that…" Harper offered up her own small smile, but it was a genuine one.
"It's fine, I should've played attention." She said, shrugging as she adjusted her hold on her guitar.
"You sure? You're not hurt or anything?" Harper prodded, not wanting to make sure that she'd accidentally hurt her roommate on the very first day they met.
"Perfectly fine! Not a mark!" She said, grinning.
