"He's the dweeb," Paige accused, looking the back of Bryson's head.
"He's the dweeb," Paige accused, looking the back of Bryson's head.
“I mean,” It took Roxy everything she had to not burst out laughing. “I can’t argue with you on that one.”
Bryson grinned and tried to sound mad. "What was that?"
“Oh, nothing. Nothing that you need to hear.” She spoke in a sing-song voice, sweetly smiling.
Bryson lowered his sister's feet to the floor. "Paige, get her."
Paige lunged at Roxy.
“Ahhh, no!!!” She shrieked. “Bryson! You’re supposed to be on my side!!”
Bryson shrugged. Paige tickled Roxy's ribs. "Payback!"
Being the extremely ticklish person she is, she shrieked and fell to the floor, curling into a ball. “Screw you guys!!” She jokingly yelled in between laughs.
Bryson watched them, smiling to himself.
Paige knelt by Roxy's ear. "Let's get him."
She smirked, before whispering back, “Totally, follow my lead.” She waited until Bryson turned a little bit, before vaulting to her feet and throwing herself at him to knock him over.
"Woah!" Bryson yelled, stumbling back onto the couch, Roxy laying on top of him. Paige giggled and rushed at them, wiggling her fingers and poking Bryson's side.
Roxy laughed, clutching on to Bryson as he toppled over for support. After they had hit the couch, she picked up her head to find herself laying on top of him, his face only a few inches away from hers. “Kiss him,” some urge inside her screamed. Her heart pounded loud in her ears as her cheeks heated up, still keeping eye contact with him. Swallowing down her feelings, she finally sat up, adjusting herself, pretending that never happened. Fixing her hair, she giggled and yelled, “Yeah, you get him Paige!”
Bryson noticed how close their faces got, and he noticed her blush. He instinctively blushed too but didn't have time to do much else before Paige was poking at his sides again.
"Paige!" he snapped teasingly. She giggled and ran upstairs, making kissy noises before disappearing from sight.
Roxy shook her head as Paige disappeared. “That dork,” she awkwardly laughed in response to the kissing noises she was making. Crossing her legs under herself, she turned to get a better look at Bryson. She narrowed her eyes a little, swearing that she saw the smallest hint of a blush on him. She couldn’t help the half smirk that lit up her face. “So, loser,” she winked. “What’s up? Whatcha wanna do?”
"Um, hi. How are you? Oh, that's good. I'm fine, thanks for asking," Bryson chatted with 'himself' sarcastically, but was smiling to say that it was all in good fun.
Smiling, she leaned forward and lightly slapped his arm. “Stop it you dork!! You know I was only kidding with you!” She stayed leaning against his arm, looking up into his face. She stuck out her tongue for a second, trying to get a reaction for her point.
"Dork! The word of the day!" Bryson exclaimed.
This time she slapped the side of his head, lightly, in a joking manner of course. “You stop it!! Leave me alone,” she fake whined, making a pouty face.
He caught her wrist and grinned. "Something wrong, sweetheart?" he asked sweetly.
Grinning back, she whined, “Yes, something is wrong! There’s this big meanie-head who won’t stop making fun of me!!” She sagged her shoulders and tried to make herself look even more pathetic.
"How sad!" Bryson said sympathetically, not letting go of her wrist. "I wonder who it is. Whoever it is, I'll beat them up!"
She sniffled, now pretending to cry. “When you do figure out who it is, you really should beat them up! It would make me feel,” She sniffled again. “ A lot better..” Roxy now started to notice that he was still holding her wrist. She didn’t complain or anything, not yet. just got curious to why he was still holding on to her.
In all honesty, Bryson forgot that he was holding onto her wrist still. He was so caught up in the teasing act. "Anything for you, dear. I'll beat them to a-" He realized that he was holding on and quickly let go, covering his embarrassment by punching his palm heavily and finishing his thought. "Pulp!"
She giggled, all real, not forced for the front they were putting on. After he let go of her wrist she folded her hands in her lap, and leaned in towards him. “You really are my night in shining armor,” she laughed, winking.
"I try," he replied with a grin.
