(I am getting the feeling that maybe you want to end the rp?)
(Not really. I like it a lot. I think we should get a little plot in there some how tho.)
(I was hoping you would help in moving it along…I was fishing for you to do something. Sorry)
(Hmm. Here one sec. I can edit my response.)
(edited it)
(Oh, thank you)
John winces as he watches jackie nearly come to tears then he reaches a hand up and caresses her cheek "Hey now…don't cry…Would you like to talk about it love?" John frowns and hopes what he said won't push her to cry
Jackie was hesitant at first but then she nodded. "It's been a while since I've been in a relationship. My last relationship was something so real and genuine I thought it would never end. But it did. He got in a car accident one day and I never saw him again." She blinked away her tears quickly.
Johns expression softened and he tilted his head as he listened "I am sorry about your loss jackie…That is a terrible thing to have happened. At least since your last relationship you knew you were loved and I would cherish that" John clears his throat slightly surprised at himself for bringing up something he had not thought about in a long time
Jackie simply nodded. "You're loved too you know! Or… maybe you don't know." Jackie said, trying to search through the look in his eyes.
John smiles slightly and looks back into Jackies eyes his feeling quelled by the look of what seemed to be genuine feelings for him "I…didn't mean it like that, I know I am loved…You show all your emotion through your eyes. I was drawing from my past is all" John smiles hoping she didn't see that is was forced
"Your past..? Do you wanna talk about it? It's okay if you don't." She rambled.
(gtg be on later hopefully)
John pauses then takes a moment to formulate what he wanted to say "Well…I…Hmm…I was engaged once, and at the time it seemed like she was my whole world. I was blind to say the least and she ended up being a spy. On our wedding night she had killed my mother in the courtyard…While I grieved she snuck up on me and captured me. She then tortured and berated me for monthes…So what I am saying is that you were lucky to have been loved like that and possibly again"
"Wow. I have no idea what to say…" She said. The tears were flowing now.
John pulls jackie close and starts to stroke her hair in a soothing manner "Jackie , it's okay"
"It's not though. That's a totally sick thing for someone to do. I can't even compare to that." Jackie says roughly, but not in an argumentative manner. She let John stroke her hair but was a little tense.
John continues to stroke jackie hair and he nods slightly "Indeed it was a sick thing for someone to do. Yet I learned a lot from it and hopefully she will get her justice"
"I hope that she gets justice to. And I hope that I never do anything like that." Jackie said. After a moment of silence she quickly changed the topic. "Should we do something?"
John nods and he pulls away from Jackie and looks at her "Sure, ummm…would you like to see my collection?"
"Yeah! What do you collect?" She said, standing up.
John smiles then gets up heading towards his basement door "All sorts of odds and ends, a large portion of my collection are old relic books"
"Ooh cool." Jackie said, looking around at the house as they walked by.
John opens the basement door clicking the light on as we descended the stairs feeling slightly excited to be showing off his collection
Jackie's smile brightened as she saw the basement. So much to see.
John walks around the basement showing Jackie all sorts of odds and ends from suits of armor to the hundreds of old dusty book on numerous shelves. As John walked around showing Jackie his collection he reached out and touched a few items, a odd expression on his face when he did so. He then stops after a while after showing Jackie around the basement "Is there any item that caught your interest Jackie?"
