"Can you just talk?" Liam said bluntly, letting his shoulders sag.
"Can you just talk?" Liam said bluntly, letting his shoulders sag.
That's the problem! Robin shook his head, pointing to his throat and shaking his head again. He mouthed 'I can't.'
'Oh me too' Liam mouthed back.
What? He can clearly talk! 'I can't speak, at all. My voice seems to have disappeared when I woke up in this alley.' He mouthed.
"Hey!" she yelled as she saw someone else , "Have a wheelchair?"
'What are you saying?' He mouthed, waving around his hands, "Don't you know sigh language?" Liam said orally.
Robin shook his head. He had never learned it. Understandably, he never really expected to become deaf or mute.
(Robin is deaf?)
"Well then," Liam muttered, grabbing a piece of paper from the floor then handing it to the boy with his pen, "Use this to write messages."
(No, but you learn sign language for when you're deaf. Sorry if it was confusing, I just meant that he wouldn't have learned it because he didn't expect to get either of the ailments that you need sign language for, though he currently only has one of them.) He nodded and wrote down on the paper. 'My name is Robin Jones. When I woke up in this alley, I couldn't speak. I don't know why. I can communicate with animals via speech and thought, so that's why that creature is obeying.'
Taking the paper back, Liam held is really really close to his face, "Ah it so dark in here.." He muttered, "I already have really bad eye sight and this light," He looked at the stars, "Is not helping at all. You have a flashlight or something be can burn for light?"
Robin felt his pockets and pulled out a very small travel flashlight, handing it to Liam.
Shelley fell out of Gina's arms with an oof She leaned against the walls trying to stand up falling on the floor.
"Nice." Liam said, turning it on and shining it at the paper. Holding it there for sometime, he finally gave it back after a few minutes, "Sorry it took so long, everything was blurry."
Well, yeah. I was writing in the dark. Robin turned off the flashlight to preserve the battery. The creature had left at this point, having gotten bored.
"Do you know how to climb?" He asked, looking at the walls.
Robin shook his head. Well, at least not walls like this. Trees I can do okay. 'Why don't we just look for the entrance to the alley?' he wrote down on the paper.
"That idea seems impossible." He muttered, looking down the alley, "This place looks like it goes on forever and ever."
"There is no entrance, I've searched and searched. I've been here longer than all of you." Shelley sighed.
"You don't know that." Liam murmured, still looking at the towering walls, "Maybe I was just asleep for a really long time."
I just woke up, so I have no idea how long I've been here. Robin looked around for the best way to possibly escape.
"Lets see." He muttered to himself, walking over to the wall he placed his hand on it too see if he could find any small holes or divots, "This wall has no grooves." He said to the others, "I should have brought my Ipod so I could give it some!" He joked, now laughing at himself.
"I've been here technically my whole life!"
"You lived in this alley way?" Liam gasped, looking at all the junk on the floor.
"When my parents abandoned me yes, and when I woke up, here I was…."
"So let me get this straight- they abandon when you where a baby and then you somehow woke up as a teen in a alley way?"
