(yeah let's)
After a bit, they arrived at a little house towards the outskirts of town. Emilia helped them off of Angus and they headed inside to find something scrumptious reach their nostrils. "Hello Emilia. I see you've brought some friends." A tall woman with the same fiery red hair as Emilia greeted them as they headed towards the living area.
"Hi! I'm Rose, It's very nice to meet you Mrs……."
Merida smiled. "You can call me Merida. No worries."
(Oddly enough I was doing some research on her so I could have a more accurate character and she doesn't have a last name.)
Crystal gave Merida a small smile and a shy wave. She had a little bit more trouble warming up to adults then to teens her age.
"And you are…?" Merida's accent and slightly intimidating stare seemed to be freaking Crystal out a little bit so Emilia answered for her. "This is my new friend Crystal."
Merida smiled kindly. "I'm assuming you'll be joining us for supper then?" She looked at the two girls. "Yes, Mum. What are we having?" Emilia asked wafting the scent towards her nostrils.
“Mmmmmm, whatever it is, it smells wonderful!
Crystal fiddled with her necklace.
Merida nodded in agreement. "I made my mum's meat pie. It's me favorite." Emilia clapped her hands excitedly when Merida said this and then looked at her friends. "You're gonna love it"
Crystal smiled. "I'm sure I will." She said quietly.
“Yum!” She thought for a moment , “if you guys ever come to my home, I’ll have my mom make Soupe à l'oignon, or onion soup, it’s amazing!, especially when it’s followed by chocolate soufflé!” She giggled, “dads appetite never shrunk even after he transformed!”
Emilia laughed and ushered the girls to the dining room table where the meat pie had been set down before them.
Crystal sat down quietly, all smiles.
They dug right in. It was delicious as promised. "So, you guys go to insert school name here right?" Emilia said through a mouthful.
“Mrs… I mean Merida, have we met before? I have a memory in the back of my mind, but I can’t quite place it..”
Crystal nodded at Emilia. "Uh huh."
(Was just making stuff up)
"That's what I thought." Emilia said. "I must just not have any classes with you."
