Dak looked to the metal and the wood, "Let's make another one anyways. They could use it for something else, and then no one will get mad."
Dak looked to the metal and the wood, "Let's make another one anyways. They could use it for something else, and then no one will get mad."
Colton nodded, “Yes Sir,” He joked, grinning with a small giggle.
Dak chuckled softly, "Now let's get to work."
Colton nodded before the two got to work making the second hut.
Dak was exhausted by the time they finished, and hungry. Really hungry. What did the rebels eat anyway?
Colton ran a hand through his hair, trying to catch his breath, “You Okay?”
Dak's stomach growled, "Just hungry, really really hungry."
Chrysi walked up to the boys and the finished hut. She had heard the growl and threw Dak a piece of bread, "You probably burned all your calories by using your fire ability. Just get something in you and you should feel better. Oh and here's one for you too Colton."
Chrysi tossed Colton a piece of bread while Dak started to chow down on it.
“Thanks.” Colton said, giving Chrysi a small smile and taking a small bite of the bread.
Chrysi nodded, "You're welcome. You boys did good and I got nothing else for ya. Training will start tomorrow morning at dawn."
“I don’t need to train though,” Colton crosses his arms with a small frown.
Chrysi raised an eyebrow, "Can you use a weapon?"
“Yes. Swords, daggers and small guns.” Colton replied.
"Damn, well I still need to test you buddy, "Chrysi said crossing her arms.
Colton nodded, “That’s fine, I understand.”
Chrysi nodded, "Good, but I still have to train Dak from scratch."
“I can help if you want.” He offered.
"Nah," Chrysi looked at him her eyes trailing Colton's INK, "You still have to be trained in using your ability."
Colton nodded, “Alright, that’s fine.”
Chrysi nodded and glanced around her rebels, "Now who would be best to train you…."
“No idea.” Colton said slipping on his jacket.
Chrsi sighed, "Probably a plant splice or one of our myths. Can't be me since I'll be working with Dak."
"You will?" he looked up at her curiously.
"Yeah, I am. Got a problem with it?"
"No ma'am."
Gail walked up behind Chrysi, "so, who are you training and when?" She asked, playing with another crystal
"Dak, tomorrow, dawn,"Chrysi responded trying not to show how badly that made her jump.
Gail smiled "I'm still coming to watch him fail." She said
Chrysa grinned back, "Of course. I expected nothing less."
