"Apparently… What if they aren't actually guys though? Like girls that are guys and they're in because they would be outcasted otherwise," Dak said thoughtfully. He didn't really know though, just watched some news when he could.
"Apparently… What if they aren't actually guys though? Like girls that are guys and they're in because they would be outcasted otherwise," Dak said thoughtfully. He didn't really know though, just watched some news when he could.
“I don’t really know. Either way it doesn’t matter, they’re guys and that’s all that matters.” Colton shrugged, zipping his jacket up for warmth.
Dak nodded, he was sweating so why was Colton zipping his jacket up? He shrugged, "I guess. I never really understood it anyway."
“I’m sure someone will explain it to you if you ask,” Colton sighed through his nose, “All you’ve gotta do is find some confidence to do so.”
"Okay," Dak figured he was annoying Colton and didn't say anything else. He knew that sound better then anything.
After a few minutes of silence, Colton looked to Dak with a look of confusion, “You okay buddy? You were talkative a minute ago and now you’re really quiet, something the matter?”
"I thought I was annoying you so I shut up," Dak explained mirroring his confusion.
“You weren’t annoying me, I actually like you speaking.” Colton replied, smiling.
Dak smiled back, "Oh, so I thought wrong. Well, um, where do you come from?"
“A small town not too far from here,” Colton replied, “I moved when I was little.”
"I didn't realize people still lived outside of the city, what's it like?" Dak asked him.
“Eh, boring but beautiful.” Colton replied with a small smile.
Dak looked at him with slight awe, "So it's not dangerous? Like at all?"
Zhira was silent during this whole discussion, admiring the city from above. She had barely been outside since she was eleven… let alone allowed to see anything
(HeYyYyYy Sorry I was gone so long. Anyone mind telling me …what happened
Colton shook his head, “Nah, not unless you mess with the bulls. It’s just country and farm land for miles and miles. Rolling green hills with cottages here and there before you see the small village in amongst the trees and fields.”
(Well, we met Zhira. Dak and Colton have been shoved in a pit of INK. All you really need to know is that your with Chrysi, Zhira, Colton, Gail, and Dak traveleing to theit base.)
"Wow. Everyone says it's really dangerous out there. It sounds nice though," Dak said with a smile, "Is that why you were so willing to go out there again?"
Colton shrugged, “It’s peaceful out there and I’d rather be there then here so… yes, I guess it is.”
Dak jumped to the next roof, but he still couldn't make it the entire way and had to flap. He landed on the next one, "Why is this so difficult?"
Colton landed easily, his longer limbs and agility making it easier, “No clue, training will help you get better at this.”
Dak sighed as he panted a little, "I hope so. This is exhausting."
“Exercise is good for the body and soul,” Colton rolled up his sleeves, “You’ll get used to it.”
Dak groaned, "No it's painful."
Chrysi walked up to them, "No it's necessary."
Colton finger gunned with one hand to Chrysi wile still looking at Dak, “What she said, and she’s the boss.”
Chrysi fingered gun back and walked back to the front leading them on. Dak groaned, "I guess. She seems to act really weird sometimes doesn't she?"
