(This is what Meara is wearing now:)
After Meara had gotten dressed, she got in her car. She hesitated at first sitting there with her keys for a minute. Meara drove by memory and arrived at Isaac's place in a few minutes. Walking up the front walk she knocked and fiddled with her fingers as she waited.
Isaac heard a knock at the door while he was getting out of the shower. "Just a second!" he called towards the door as he got dressed and ran his fingers through his still wet hair. He walked to the door, still fussing with his hair, and opened the door to see Meara.
All Meara could do was wave shyly.
"Oh," Isaac gasped, surprised to see her, "hey. I thought I'd done something wrong when I didn't see you this morning." he laughed, running his fingers through his hair again nervously.
"No, you did great. I just was a little confused when I woke up so I headed home to 'wake up' and change into some fresh clothes." Meara muttered, nervously.
"No, I wasn't trying to make things awkward." Isaac rambled.
"Seriously, it's okay." She said as he rambled. When he didn't stop she dug up as much courage as she had in her and kissed his cheek.
Isaac stopped, a shocked look on his face as he continued to stand in the doorway. "Uh… do-do you want to come in." he stuttered, still a little dazed.
Meara was a little shocked herself and nodded, stepping inside tentatively.
"Um… so what would you like to do?" he asked her tentatively.
"It's up to you. I just wanted to spend more time with you." Meara said, setting her bag down.
(sorry, I'm trying to get homework done too)
Isaac shrugged, "We can do anything, I don't really mind."
(It's okay I'm actually still here.)
"We could just talk. Or go to a movie or something. Again, as long as we get to spend time together and make the most of this week." Meara said thoughtfully as she looked at Isaac.
"Well, what do you want to do? What do you think would be the most fun." Isaac smiled at Meara.
Meara grinned. She was pretty sure they could do this all day. "How bout a movie?" She suggested.
"That's a great idea, what do you want to watch?" he agreed
"Surprise me." Meara said, plopping down on the couch and adjusting her shirt nervously.
Isaac grabbed the first movie he saw off his book/movie shelf. "How's this one?" he asked, showing her the cover.
(I don't know what movie to say it is XD)
(Sorry I left so abruptly. I had this project for social studies where we had to set a timer for ten minutes and then run around our house with a pillowcase, gathering what we would bring. And I warned my mom ahead of time but then I didn't get to it and so my mom reminded me by walking in a simply saying "The nazis are coming" XD)
Meara nodded. It was the Princess Bride. "One of my favorites." She said, trying to keep in her inner geek.
"It's one of mine too." Isaac smiled, putting the movie in and hitting play on the remote.
"Yay!" Meara clapped her hands quietly when the movie started then became silent and entraced by the movie.
Isaac ran to the kitchen to put some popcorn in the microwave before returning to the living room and sitting down next to Meara to watch the movie.
