She noted his smirk and narrowed her eyes playfully. "You think I'm too scared to take you on alone?"

“Maybe.” Jayden said.

She sucked in a breath. "You're on, Jayden."

(You should look into it.
Basically the group goes into a dark room full of obstacles (blocks, low walls, the really fancy one have barrels and the occasional truck). They're given vests with target areas, often around the chest, and laser guns. The aim is to hit the opponent's target areas with the laser. If you get hit your gun disables for ten seconds. The match is on a time limit, and whoever was hit the most loses)

Dexter thought for a moment. Then shrugged. "I was bored. Plus I'm just hopelessly romantic."

Meara was drawn out of her daydream when Isaac came back. "Nothing in particular, just thinking." She saw the hot cocoa and croissant in his hand and beamed. "Thanks!" She took it and immediately bit into the croissant, motioning for Isaac to sit next to her.

"So, what are you like Meara? I know hardly anything about you besides your name and that you like croissants." Isaac laughed.

Eve looked back at the screen, "Well, Wonder is playing right now, do you want to see that one?" she asked, looking back over at Alex.

He held her gaze. "Sure." He looked at her a moment longer before turning back to the machine and getting the tickets. "Let's go get the snacks." He put a hand on her elbow and dragged up the escalator.

"Well, I'm pretty shy normally, I'm not sure why I'm so energized today. I enjoy animals and love drawing. I've been waiting to be in a relationship for sooooo long so I hope this works out alright." She avoided his eyes at the last part and her voice dropped dramatically in volume.

Eve followed Alex up the escalator, his hand on her elbow. "Slow down Alex," she giggled, "you have long legs and I can't keep up." she laughed.

Isaac smiled at the last part of what Meara had said, "I hope it works out too. My last relationship didn't end well." he laughed, looking at her as she tried to avoid his gaze.

"Yeah…" She perked up. "Oh! And I have turquoise green-cheek conure named Hermione. I love Harry Potter."
