He sighed softly and stroked her cheek, brushing away tears “never think that my love. Of course I love you.”

"It's ok if you don't I want you to be happy" she said fresh tears falling "even if it's not with me"

He stood and sat at the edge of her bed. “Then tell me, who else would I be happy with if not you?” He asked, his usually teasing and somewhat charming tone coming back

He wrinkled his nose and shook his head “nah, not my type.” He settles beside her carefully and tucked her under his chin

She kissed the column of his neck softly

Chace shut his eyes and released a heavy breath. He tilted his head down and captured her lips with his, for a brief moment kissing her with so much passion and desire. “How could I not love you?”

" I don't know" she shrugged " just figured"

Chace shook his head and grinned “nope.”he sat up and cradled her in his arms, careful not to hurt her. “I’m sorry about before. But I meant it about being better for you. You deserve someone better than me.”

Ahe groaned and turned away from him"

“That doesn’t mean I’m going anywhere.” He said softly, loosening his hold on her in case she wanted to move away

"I just wish you'd stop pushing me away' she said

He sighed softly and nodded “I know, I don’t want to.”

"but you do I didn't bail you out for you to push me away"

He watched her carefully "And I didn't leave jail, with or without your help to be the same person that went in. Yes, I don't think i was fairly tried but being there taught me that I need to be better if I want to continue on with my life."

A faint smile appeared on his lips and he pressed a kiss to her head "that's easy. You and Cerise." he tilted his head in thought "and of course mom to be taken care of."

"if you-" she let out a shaky breath " if you don't want to be with me right now don't do that to cerise she needs you I need you but I don't matter. right now see her at least once a week she loves you I-I love you"

He pressed close to her and kissed her head, leaving his lips in place as he spoke softly "I love you and the girl." he said slowly "I want to be with you and Cerise more than anything."
