"Celeste? Wow, long time no see!" Kenzie exclaimed, seeing who one of the girls was.
(How do they know each other?)
"Celeste? Wow, long time no see!" Kenzie exclaimed, seeing who one of the girls was.
(How do they know each other?)
(I have no idea… how about old classmates)
"Yeah, too long!" She gave her old friend a one-armed hug and turned back to Violet and Shey. "Maybe we should get indoors. A round of coffee on me?" she offered brightly.
Shey nodded, "I'm fine with that. Thanks!"
(Great!)
"That sounds fine. Just let me put this stuff in my trunk, and I'll be there in a few," agreed Kenzie, starting towards her maroon Jeep.
"No problem," She scanned the area and spotted a Costa. She pointed.
Violet headed into the coffee shop after everyone else and waited for one of them to start the chain of orders.
Celeste sat at a table by the window. "I'm taking a hot chocolate in this weather."
Kenzie raced to the coffee shop and found the other girls sitting at a table by a window. After getting her drink, a caramel latté with extra whip, she sat down with them.
"Hi. I'm Kenzie, as you may have guessed," she introduced herself awkwardly. Social situations weren't really her thing, but she had nothing better to do. "What're your names?"
Shey smiled. "My real name is Shylar, I go by Shey."
Celeste stared at the newcomer. "Hey, Skylar. Nice to meet you. I'm Celeste."
(Oh… Ignore Skylar… I meant Kenzie… Whoops!)
(Lol yeah wrong rp)
"i'm Violet," Violet answered, grabbing her coffee and taking sip. "Shey? That's cute."
Celeste wrapped her hands around her hot chocolate and took a sip. "So. Five girls that bump into each other on the street have a coffee. Sounds like the start to a bad joke."
His curiosity got the better of him. Jackson got up and left the house, putting on a jacket on his way out. He tucked his book in it as hewalked down the street to the coffee shop, not wanting it to get wet. Five girls sat at a table in the cafe. Is this creepy? he thought, Oh well, I'm here now. He buys a pastry and takes a seat at a table, opening his book. He thought he was in for a show.
Shey blushed at Violet's comment. "Thanks," she mumbled.
Kenzie giggled. "Yeah, it does. What're the odds, huh?"
After a quick glance around the room, Kenzie noticed a familiar man sitting at a table close by. He had been near the girls when they had run into each other, and now he was in the same cafe as they were. Odd…
Violet sat and talked with the girls and for some reason, Shey stuck out the most to her compared to the rest. She took a final sip of her coffee and set the cup down.
Shey brought out her phone and began to look at her Pinterest. She didn't want to start a conversation.
Violet sighed, 'why is she ignoring us all,' She thought. Sighing she took out her own phone.
Seeing that none of the other girls were going to actually talk, Kenzie, with a sudden burst of confidence that probably came from too much caffeine, walked over to the man she had noticed.
"Excuse me," she said politely. Gesturing to the seat across from him, she asked, "Do you mind if I sit here?"
Jackson looks up from his book when someone talks to him.
I’m front of him is one of the girls from the table. “Yeah, no problem.” he replied.
"Great, thanks," Kenzie said awkwardly. Her confidence was spent, and now she had no idea what to do.
Jackson looked at her expectantly. He figured she would’ve left the other table for a reason…
