Adrian was reluctant to cross the border when Mitch refused to, but he steeled himself and went with the rest. He stayed mostly in the back, not making much noise and trying to observe and take in as much as he could.
(id also be willing to make some student council peeps btw)
(cool cool) (maybe each of us that want to play members can make one or two each!)
And so they were led into the living room. Luna explained the situation to her parents, and they agreed that it was dangerous, but that the town needed the money. As long as the club was discreet, they would probably be fine.
So they went back to the club room, only to find Professor Zor there holding a sheet of Luna's binder that Luna had apparently drifted beneath the table.
"What is this?" Zor asked. "Vampire… plans?"
The sheet had, fortunately, only three bullet points on it:
-go find parents
- Lauren, Kiran, Adelle volunteer?
-vampire and everyone else symbiotic relationship
Zor wondered what it meant. And so, when the club arrived back at the club, he was there waiting.
"What's the meaning of all this?" he yelled. "Are you doing something illegal? Tell me right now!"
"Maybe we are, maybe we aren't. And why does it concern you, anyway?" Azami yawned. "Can you just.. go the hell away so we can continue our club meeting?"
Professor Zor's face started to turn red. "Who do you think you are?"
Azami grinned. "Azami D. Centero, at your service."
(agh sorryy i've been kinda busy)
Maev watched from the corner of the room, silent and waiting to stop Profeesor Zor if he got in the way.
(Sorry!)
Grayson would be leaning on the wall in the back of the room. He'd chuckle at Azami's replay. "Mr.Zar! Long time no see! How's your family doing? "He joked. "How's life in this school…You made my life…hell.."
(So what happened was that Zar made his life"Hell" because he always tanted him. He hated Zar and Zar hated him.)
Mr. Zor looked at the club and scowled.
"The student council will hear about this," he said. "I don't know what you've been doing but it obviously isn't very good," he said, storming away.
Luna sighed. "Guys… we might not be able to cross the border now. We should have just made an excuse or something. Ah, well, it's all over now. Anyone in for coffee?"
"I'm in. We can discuss matters further over a drink." Azami winced. "That sounded way too sophisticated, where did that even come from?"
"Sure..I guess. But ill catch you guys later. Im going to check on somthing". He was hiding somthing.
Maev bit her lip, annoyed at professor Zor. "I'll come," she muttered. "But… this isn't over if I can help it."
Adrian let out the breath he had been holding. "There's a tearoom near my neighborhood that's usually pretty quiet. Maybe we can go there, relax, talk some more if we need to." He offered a smile, his purple-painted fingernails tapping on his bag; however, his eyes were still filled with anxiety.
Mitch looked, worried, at his friend then turned back to the group. "I can pass the border whenever. Werewolves have almost free passes." He said, then added quietly, "Especially me."
The corner of Maev's mouth perked up as a bit of hope sparked inside of her. "I might be able to go too. I'll preform a good invisibility spell, and I could get across unseen."
Maev doubted her words, though. She'd never tried preforming an invisibility spell, but how hard could it be? … Right?
So they went to the tearoom.
"Ahh, this tea really hits the spot!" Luna said. In her tea, she had put spoons garlic. When she saw one of them look at her cup, she remembered something.
"Oh… I should probably explain that I'm a vampire, not a faerie," Luna said, "though you might have noticed when you met my parents. And you might be confused about the garlic. Vampires are predisposed to hate garlic, but over time I grew to like it."
Adrian took his third biscuit from the platter on the table in front of them, an interested look on his face. "I thought they were…allergic, or something similar? They just hate it, then?"
"Can you actually been seen in mirrors though?" Mitch joked, though it was a valid question and one he wanted answered.
"Ooh, can you?" Maev leaned back in her chair. "And how come you're not out there with the other vampires?"
"My parents wanted me to experience life like everyone else," Luna said. "so they sent me to the closest school that could do that while also being not too far away from them."
"Hmm… there are many misconceptions about vampires. We're annoyingly sneaky and hard to miss, which is why even if you see our reflection in a mirror you probably won't notice it. But our reflection is there."
Azami didn't say anything, just raised an eyebrow and sipped her coffee.
Adrian fluffed his hair and took another sip of his tea, listening intently.
