Alfred walks home, humming a tune under his breath as he opens his front door, to instantly be tackled by his older brother Matthew. He gives a 'manly' screech before clearing his throat. "Wanker!" He yells. "I thought I told you to bloody stop with those stupid pranks!" he cries, hissing at the other. Matt just laughed, ruffling his younger brothers hair, pissing the other off even more.
(Should we do a thing where you call the number, and it just says the time, date, and location of the first meeting? It might make things McEasier)
Pearl took the flyer, running home so she could call.
Ollie clicked the green button and held the phone to his ear. It only rang once before he heard a robotic, voicemail-lady-like voice say, 'Greetings. You have reached the number of Alfred. For those of you wishing to join an alternative rock band, please press one.'
Without hesitation, he pressed one.
'To join the alternative rock band, managed by Alfred Kirkland, please be at Woodfield Secondary School at 3:30pm on Monday, in the music room. That's 3:30pm on Monday at Woodfield Secondary School, in the music room. Thank you for calling.'
The call ended. Ollie took the poster, shoved it in his bag, and went to meet his friend.
She darted up to her room, dialing the number.
(just wondering how do I jump in?)
(nvm, I'll be back I have to go the house)
Alfred hums, singing to himself as he starts cooking dinner. He had felt his phone vibrate a few times, maybe people really had seen his posters. He chuckles to himself, he nearly killed a forest making those fliers. He sighs softly before straightening and serving himself something to eat.
(when ye get back all ya gotta do is see the poster and dial the number on it in the rp, thats what we're doing atm)
He gently pressed the button, moving it so he could listen. He sighed, pressing 'One' and hanging up, typing a reminder.
(should we just skip to the meeting? or does @Qxeenscryche need to do her thing?
also i share a birthday with Detox Icunt)
(Sure, we can skip to the meeting.)
( @Qxeenscryche can just turn up late I guess? )
After his last lesson, Ollie waved his friends goodbye and made his way over to the music room. Slipping past the keyboard, he sighed and placed his bag down next to the drum kit. He pulled his new drumsticks from out of his bag and sat behind the kit. He would have to wait another half an hour until he found out who else was in the band, so he might as well practice before they got there.
He decided to start off with one of his grade pieces and began to play.
(im not gonna put detail for what he was playing bc i cba today)
He hums softly, a bounce in his step. Alfred was excited, to say the least, today was the day. He hums, going over the list of people, sighing softly. Apparently a lot of people saw the flyers.
Pearl walked up the steps to the music room, guitar slung across her back. ((Okay so my responses are gonna be really short bc I'm stuck in class and don't wanna be caught))
He sit down, rummaging through papers, looking over names, looking over different instruments, he sighs softly.
As he finished his grade piece, he noticed a girl with short black hair and blue streaks wander into the music room. She looked sort of edgy, which was pretty cool to Ollie, and he felt like he'd seen her around the school. 'Hey, you here for the band?' he asked, tapping his drumsticks on the edge of the snare drum.
She nodded, smiling. "Yep! You too, I'm guessin'?"
Hunter's father had finally allowed him back home, so he finally got a good night's rest. He unplugged his bass as his phone reminded him to get to the meeting. He quickly ran out of the house and hopped on his skateboard, his beloved instrument strapped across his back. Once he arrived he looked around, running a hand through his silver hair he held his skateboard in his other. He made sure to stay away from the others, leaning against the back of the room, allowing his bass to rest right beside him.
Alfred stands, clearing his throat. "Alright. You all know why you're here. You'll perform and once I've seen everyone I'll contact the ones suitable. So, without further ado, let's get started." He sits down, grabbing his pen as his finger taps against the table.
Hunter nodded to himself in the back, quickly sorting through his choices, smirking a bit when he decided on his favorite, the first one his Nonno taught him.
Pearl mentally picked a piece, fingers already doing the cords.
Ollie nodded at the girl, tapping a beat on the edge of the snare.
