“The couches are all pullout beds, which should fix your problems,” the receptionist said before taking a sip of his coffee. Erikos nodded, though he was unable to help the blush rising to his cheeks again at Kaden’s touch
“The couches are all pullout beds, which should fix your problems,” the receptionist said before taking a sip of his coffee. Erikos nodded, though he was unable to help the blush rising to his cheeks again at Kaden’s touch
Kaden nodded. "Then that settles it. Who's bunking with who?" He turned to the rest of their party.
She shrugged. "Don't matter to me."
Cade stepped back and looked at the floor. "I really don't care, I'll room with anybody."
"You're with me shark boy. Need you with me invade I set anything on fire again." Kaden winked at him.
“I swear, you only keep me around for my water and my abs,” Erikos said with a mock pout. “But that leaves you guys to figure out what you’re doing,” he said as he gestured to the others
"What abs?" He asked with a smirk. "Last I saw, there was only flab." He teased him. He chucked his chin then picked up their bags. "Let's go."
“Asshole, I totally have abs!” Erikos protested. “I have at least a six pack, it’s not my fault I just look twiggy when I’m disguised.”
"That reminds me, does anybody have any water?" Cade asked. "I brought a gallon in the car, but I drank it all."
"Sure you do honey. Keep telling yourself that." He smirked. "I'm sure they have water around here if you need it."
“I got you,” Erikos said before shooting Kaden a look. He pulled a water bottle out of his bag before tossing it to Cade
He smirked at him. "What floor are we on?" He asked as he made his way to the elevator.
"Thanks," he said, catching it and draining the bottle within seconds. He would have to swing by the store later and get more.
“Uh, we’re all on the third floor,” Erikos responded as he began to walk towards the elevator. “It’s got a view of the pool too since it’s on the balcony right above it, which is great for all us water creatures.”
"Wait, there's a pool?" Cade said, stopping at the elevator and pushing the button.
She handed Cade a bottle. "Sorry, all I've got."
He smiled at her. "Thank you," he said. "Sorry I just can't live more than a few hours without it. It honestly sucks."
She nodded.
“Well on the bright side, you can spend all day in the big ass pool while I go treat myself to overpriced burgers and overrated beers,” Erikos said with a grin
"A burger sounds really good right now," Cade admitted, leaning against the elevator doors.
“Well, I can grab you one from the cafe deal in the hotel or something,” Erikos suggested
"That would be so awesome," Cade said. The elevator doors opened and Cade accidentally stumbled in from leaning on the doors.
Erikos laughed as Cade all but fell into the elevator. “Cade, my buddy, I can’t have you dying via dumb elevator accidents.”
"I'm fine," he said, waving a hand dismissively and picking up the water bottle that he had accidentally dropped.
“Just don’t break your face or anything. If you leave me as the only water related creature in the group, I will kick your ass,” Erikos said with a laugh
