"Why must we be quiet? I feel like screaming." Willow howled, "AOOHHHH!"
"Why must we be quiet? I feel like screaming." Willow howled, "AOOHHHH!"
Scarlet swore. Maybe it hadn't been such a good idea to bring Willow along. She whirled around. "Unless you want to die before killing the Queen from the hundreds of guards protecting the palace, I suggest you shut it."
Willow giggled, "Feisty." she poked Cade, "I can see why she caught your eye. C'mon Scarling, I'm going to be dead, loosen up." Willow tucked some flowers back into her hair.
Cade stopped in his tracks. "Excuse me? 'Caught my eye'?" He looked back and forth between the princess and Willow.
Scarlet froze as well. "What?!"
Harper shook her head, sighing heavily.
"I don't understand why you guys are so confused. Was it something I said?" Willow asked.
Scarlet gave her friend a look. "What are you two implying?!"
Cade kept walking, shaking his head. Don't listen to her, she's going crazy. He adjusted the mask on his face, taking out the invitation from his pocket.
"Nada mija. Don't worry about it." Harper said to her friend.
"How long do you think it will take us to get in, Princess?" Cade asked her.
Willow stroked her arms and walked with them. I'm going to die soon. Thank god. If this is what it means to be alive, hated and thought to be insane to the point where my opinion isn't valid anymore, I don't want to live. Maybe, maybe if I wasn't insane. Maybe I'd be a good person. Who people actually like.
"Well, the line should take about ten minutes, and if the guards are fooled by our forged invites, we're in. Then, we have to wait until just before the banquet, when everyone's scrambling around to find their seats before we kill her so that no one notices she's dead immediately and we can escape."
"Are you sure we'll be able to do this? It seems like a huge risk." Cade was surprised about how reasonable he was being.
"I kill her, actually." Willow objected, a little breathless, "I'm killing the queen. What she did to me.." she clenched her teeth, "Will never be forgiven."
"The invites are done extremely well thanks to Harper, and all it will take in a quick, concealed jab in the side with a knife when no one's watching, then we run. It should be fine."
"I kill her, actually." Willow objected, a little breathless, "I'm killing the queen. What she did to me.." she clenched her teeth, "Will never be forgiven."
"Yes, yes. But we're a team, so we're all in this together." (cue dancing and singing)
"Alright." An older man passed him and Cade nodded, his head still held high. The man nodded back, not even the slightest bit suspicious.
(We're all in this together!)
"No, we're not." Willow frowned, "The queen is my kill. Mine."
Cade shivered at the thought of killing someone. He was quite a rebel usually, and he threatened people if he needed to. He'd never actually killed anyone before though. To be honest, he was terrified of having to kill someone or someone killing him.
"You are the one that we agreed gets to kill her, that does not make this your mission.", Scarlet said sternly.
"I know." Willow faced all of them. "I'm sorry for hurting all of you. I know I'm crazy, just, thanks for putting up with it."
Cade nodded, smiling at Willow slightly. His stomach growled at him. I hope there's food. He chuckled a little. I sound like my brother.
"I want you all to know," Willow sobbed, "That I'm not going to be Willow for much longer." she wiped her tears away and whispered, "The flowers told me."
