"Imma get sandwiches," Bastian said before ordering their food. He sat at the table, resting his head on its surface while they waited

"Alright." He sighs softly, petting Avie fur.

Bastian's eyes fell shut, his head resting on the table tiredly. He definitely wasn't a morning person

Halo smiles softly and chuckles, gently running a hand through Bastian's hair.

Bastian gave a hum of enjoyment when Halo ran his hand through his hair

"Tired?" He asks quietly.

Bastian hummed in agreement, looking like he was on the verge of falling asleep

He chuckles, then smiles at the waitress who brought them their food and drinks.

Bastian perked up a bit at the smell of food and drinks. He made grabby hands in the direction of his coffee, being too lazy to actually grab it

Halo snickers and hands him his coffee.

Bastian took his coffee, tiredly bringing the straw to his lips. He made a small hum of enjoyment when he finally managed to take a sip

Halo smiles sipping his drink as well.

Bastian took another sip before reaching for his sandwich and taking a bite of it. "Mm, this is good."

Halo nods, eating as well. He sighs softly, giving a piece of meat to Avie.

Bastian chuckled as he watched Avie snatch it eagerly. "Looks like she likes it too," he chuckled

Halo laughs softly. "I guess she does."

Bastian reached over, giving Avie's head a scratch before taking a sip of his coffee

She barks happily, wagging her tail and panting softly.

Bastian chuckled, petting Avie with one hand while sipping his coffee with the other

Halo smiles as well, looking at the two. It's almost like… No. It's a happy family. Halo thinks.

Bastian yawned, giving Avie a pat before grabbing his sandwich and taking a bite

Halo eats as well, humming softly.

Bastian finished his food relatively quickly, feeling a bit more alive from the coffee

Halo smiles softly at the other.

Bastian took another swig of coffee, now going to pet Avie again
