Bastian walked into the employees only section before sitting down on a bench. He held Halo closely, focusing on making him feel better to try and distract himself from the lingering anger he felt from before

Halo sat with him, his hand on his shoulder. He was rubbing at the edge of a scar hidden under his clothes, the one that ran down his entire back. He takes a shaky breath, leaning into Bastian, trying to relax.

Bastian continued to hold him tightly, wrapping him up in an almost suffocating hug. "It's okay, angel. He won't hurt you anymore. He won't hurt you," he murmured soothingly

He starts to calm down, his eyes slowly opening. He shakes his head, "I hated him…" He whispers. "He was the one that abused me the most." he whispers.

Bastian cupped Halo’s cheek, wiping away any stray tears with his thumb. “Don’t worry, angel. He won’t ever hurt you, not again. I’ll snap the bastard’s spine and use it as a toothpick if he ever comes back here.”

Halo nods and sighs softly, leaning onto the other. "Thank you Bastian." he says softly.

"It's no problem, really," Bastian assured him gently. Idly, he resolved to finding something to punch later. Preferably something with a breakable neck

(I have dance, so I'm gonna be off for a little)

He relaxes fully and takes a deep breath and sighs softly. "Alright. I think I'm ready to go back." He says softly, kissing Bastians cheek.

"You sure?" Bastian asked softly, wanting to make sure that he was okay. He himself certainly wasn't, but he wasn't going to say anything

"Yeah." He says quietly. He kisses Bastian's cheek, sighing softly.

Bastian nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, okay. We should probably get back out there before people start getting upset with us," he said with a small chuckle

He nods and laughs a little, offering his hand once he stood up. "Alright. Let's go."

Bastian took his hand, smiling as he got to his feet. He pressed a kiss to Halo's cheek before beginning to make his way back towards the dancefloor

Halo follows after, trying to keep his sanity. He relaxes and sighs softly glancing around the room before exiting.

Bastian walked after him, looking intimidating as he glanced out across the nightclub. Even some of the other security guards looked a bit scared

Halo sets to work, glancing around every so often as he serves out drinks. Soon enough his happy attitude had returned and he was swaying, serving people with a small smile.

Bastian returned to his previous "patrol" of the dance floor, but this time he was far more concerned with making sure that no one suspicious so much as stepped too close to Halo

Halo hums, squeaking when he's accidentally bumped into. He says his apologies before continuing to work, moving his hips with the music.

Bastian had jumped a little when someone bumped into Halo, but he calmed himself. Was he being too protective?

He glances at Bastian and waves happily before returning to work.

Bastian smiled, waving at Halo before eventually ambling over to the bar. He grabbed himself a beer, not spending too long doing so in case he lost sight of Halo

Halo smiles, nodding to a group of men before humming and walking back into the kitchen to get refills. "The bar is busy tonight." he says, smiling towards a waiter as the plate is refilled.

Bastian nodded, taking a sip of his beer as he did so. "Yeah, it's usually more busy on the weekends, but there's an old dancer that's supposed to be making a sort of surprise appearance today."

"Hmm. Interesting." Halo chuckles softly, pecking his cheek. "I'd bet you'd be a better dancer any day." He says casually as he gives Bastian a suggestive wink.

"Mm, yeah? You should have seen me when I danced for the club on weekends. Had the whole Playboy thing going and everything," Bastian purred before chuckling
