Halo only hugs him tighter and nuzzles him gently, "I've got you. I'll try my hardest to keep the pain away." he whispers, kissing Bastian gently.

Bastian willed himself not to start crying again. He had already bothered Halo so much, and all over some ridiculous nightmare. You would think he would have gotten over having to relive his death in his sleep over and over for so long, but it never failed to break him when he had to

Halo just held him, humming softly. "I know I'm not much, but…" he whispers, kissing Bastians cheek. "I'll try my hardest." he whispers.

"No, no, you…you're so much more than anything I could have hoped for," Bastian assured him quickly. "You're so kind to me, angel. I couldn't have asked for more."

Halo bites his lip, but smiles a little. "I love you." he whispers, kissing Bastian's nose. "And I always will."

Bastian smiled warmly at that. He wrapped his arms around Halo, smiling as he pressed a kiss to his cheek. "I love you too," he murmured

Halo smiles. He may be mortal, but the time he gets to spend with Bastian is well worth it. He hums quietly, nuzzling into Bastian.

Bastian laid back down, tugging Halo with him gently as he sank into the overly fluffy sheets. He snuggled against him, feeling slightly tired from crying. He seemed to be rather tired in general today, but he figured that was just because he hadn't taken his antidepressants yet

Halo hums, laying down with him, kissing his forehead as he does so. He smiles a little, humming 'you are my sunshine' under his breath.

Bastian smiled warmly at the sound of Halo's singing. Before he could get forget he reached over to the nightstand, grabbing one of the pill bottles off it and sitting up a tad. He dumped a few in his palm before dry-swallowing them and lying back down

Halo watches before taking Bastian in his arms and kissing him gently. His movements are loving and soft, his aura warm and comforting.

Bastian smiled, kissing him back as he wrapped his arms around Halo. He gave his body an affectionate squeeze, enjoying the affection greatly

Halo smiles, happily staying in Bastians grip, humming softly as he does so. He nuzzles into Bastians chest and gives a satisfied sigh.

Bastian smiled as he pressed a kiss to Halo's forehead. He held him close, snuggling him happily. Idly, he wondered whether or not they should get ready to go out to lunch. He didn't want to get up just yet though, so he stayed put

"Mmm." Halo purrs happily against Bastians chest. "You're warm. I don't wanna move." he mutters, nuzzling the other.

"You're warm too," Bastian chuckled. "You're lucky Cas doesn't like to open the bar before twelve," he said before tugging him a little closer

Halo giggles. "Yeah, no kidding. I'm looking forward to when I start work." he says happily.

"Well, I'm pretty sure you'll end up starting tonight. Leon will probably call me or something to tell you. But she doesn't open the club until nine, so we'll have pretty much all day together," Bastian hummed

Halo smiles, "That's good." He nuzzles the other, "Sounds like an ideal day to me." He mutters, yawning softly.

Bastian hummed in agreement, smiling as he pressed a kiss to Halo's cheek. "Hey, you said that you were going to move into the rooms, right?" he asked

"Yeah." Halo hums, looking up at Bastian with curious eyes.

"Well…what if you moved in with me?" Bastian suggested. "We could go to your apartment and get your things, and then you could move in."

"Okay!" Halo says happily, kissing Bastians cheek, "I'd love to." he hums softly, giggling a little bit.

Bastian smiled widely at Halo's response. He loved to see him happy, and he was being pretty adorable right now

Halo hums, nuzzling into Bastian, "But for the moment I wanna stay here… my hips kinda hurt." he laughs gently.
