"That's okay, baby. You can talk to me about it if you need to," Bastian said gently

"It was when Castile and I were really young…" He whispers. He shivered, gulping softly. "I… I was a kid when my mom began drinking…"

Bastian just nodded along a bit with that. He could relate, in a way. His father had always drank with his friends on the weekends, but when he got sick, he started drinking a lot

He shivers more. "And dad…" He winces, running a hand along a longer scar along his waist.

"You don't have to keep going if you don't want to," Basian said softly

Halo clings to Bastian, unable to go any further. He rests his head against Bastians chest, trying to relax.

"There, there, it's okay. I'm so proud of you for telling me that, angel," Bastian soothed. He ran a hand gently through Halo's hair

Halo leans into Bastians touch with a soft sigh. He felt safe now. He was safe in Bastians grasp and that made him ease and settle down. He kisses Bastian gently. "Thank you." He whispers.

"It was nothing, angel," Bastian murmured gently. He pressed a few soft, soothing kisses to Halo's face, taking his time

Halo was fully calmed after a few moments. He releases a soft sigh as he leans into Bastian. He smiles softly. "What's the plan for today?" He mumbles.

"How about we take it easy, hm?" Bastian suggested with a soft smile

Halo nods and smiles a little, kissing his cheek gently. "Sounds great." He mutters softly, resting his head on Bastians shoulder.

Bastian wrapped his arm around Halo, running his hand soothingly through Halo's hair. "M'kay," he mumbled softly

He smiles and leans into his touch. "Thanks, love." He says quietly as he relaxes, smiling softly.

"Of course," Bastian said with a small smile

Halo smiles in return, kissing his cheek sweetly. He was feeling better by the second.

"You want me to make breakfast or something? Or I can just lay here with you," Bastian said softly

"Just stay with me…" He whispered softly, resting against Bastian.

Bastian just gave a little nod before bundling Halo up in his arms

Halo smiles, feeling safe in his beloved Bastians arms. "I love you." He whispers softly, kissing his cheek.

"I love you too, baby," Bastian murmured softly, wrapping himself comfortingly around Halo

Halo purrs at the attention, giggling softly. He shuts his eyes, snuggling into the other.

"Aw, what was that, angel? Are you enjoying yourself?" Bastian cooed

Halo nods happily, kissing his nose softly. "I am. Got a problem with that?"

"Of course not. I just love to listen to you happy like that," Bastian said warmly
