"Actually that's doing nothing, depending on how you look at it dude. I'm not one to judge or anything, just confused that's all." She shrugs as her hair swings out from being tucked behind her ear,and she puts it back,a little annoyed by it.
Evan rolled his eyes. "Your the star writer here, everyone knows it Yuki. But that's alright. We'll all make our own way. I'd rather be friends then enemies anyways. Writing is a craft of togetherness, not competition in my opinion. " He gives off his kind and soft smile, a twinkle in his eyes. Drama, that was his craft. Writing was just a side talent.
“Why would we be enemies? I respect everyone with a passion. Even if it’s stupid like ice fishing. I never disrespect someone who can devote time for something.” Yuki smiled a bit, unintentionally. He felt strange talking to Evan. Although he knew his name, and knew about him, he still felt very flattered by the compliments. Usually people call him a nerd or something. Maybe it’s a group respect thing? “Anyways, I’ve never formally met you. Your name is Evan, right?”
He nods. "Yeah. You may know me better if you ever go to see the plays here. That's where I truly shine." He smiled, this time more sheepishly, shyly. He really didn't like to brag much.
“Oh yeah, the drama club. Didn’t you guys do a play based on a poem I wrote? I can’t believe the drama teacher liked it so much… it wasn’t that great, but you as the lead role, you fit your character perfectly, you truly are talented.” Yuki kept on smiling, not noticing it at first, when he did, he hid his face, a bit of blush on his face.
Ash nodded, "confusion is all I needed." He said then actually turned his phone back on and waited till he could use it.
Evelyn made an even more confused facial expression, and shook her head. "Your weird. But. I like it." She nods.
Evan looked at him. "Heh yeah." He smiled. "Me and one of my exes dated because of that. But he ended up moving away." He shrugged as he began to draw a bit around the edge of his page. Flowers and stuff. He then sighed. "You shouldn't hide. Hiding isn't good. And red cheeks just show appreciation."
Yuki started getting nervous. “I… uh I was just impressed you knew so much.”
Yuki smiled more. He felt calmer around Evan. He chuckled a bit. “You’re pretty cute, Evan.” He mumbled the last part.
Kendra got to school pretty quick, eating the rest of her breakfast. When she got to school she took her time walking to the front door. She saw a few of her friends and waved, she pulled her phone from the pocket and checked the time. She would be late to class if she didnt get a move on, and you best believe she got a move on. She walked briskly, careful not to bump into anyone and spill her coffee or cause a scene. She dashed down the hallways and made it to her class, slowing down and taking a few deep breaths before walking in. She found an empty desk in the front row and sat down, sticking her bag under the chair, and setting her coffee on the desk in front of her. Flipping over her phone she say she had a few messages and notifications so she started responding to everyone.
Melissa glanced at the girl who sat next to her. She thinks she might have seen her around but didn't really know. She just hoped the girl wouldn't recognize her. Her leg stopped shaking ass she crossed them and looked back at her notebook. She was doodling stars in the corner.
Maddie quietly listened to the others talking around her, and looking around, she saw that no-one was watching her, so she took out her phone and started texting her friend back before she moved. Maddie wasn't originally going to go to this high school, nor the junior high school in this neighborhood either. She had moved here from Canada in sixth grade. Luckily, both she and her friend in Canada had phones back then and had exchanged numbers almost as soon as Maddie had heard the news.

Ash nodded then started playing some random game on his phone quietly. He looked away from her and paid no attention to anything else.
Evan blushed a bit and laughed. "Yeah? So that's your plan huh?" He smiled mischievously.
Evelyn gave a confused look, but her eyes was more focused on his face. She liked people, watching them knowing them. They were just so interesting to her.
Ash ignored her staring at him. She was probably just judging him and confused. He brushed it off mentally as the bell finally rang to start class.
Her eyes traveled. "You have the prettiest eyes. I'm not hitting on you,I'm just stating it as a fact." She said with a nod. "So intense and deep. Guarded. And the color is gorgeous as well…" She rubs her arm sheepishly.
Ash looked over at her quietly. He kinda was blushing lightly. "Um… Thanks."
"Your welcome." She smiles softly and put away her phone, and got out her stuff, which in fact was a book of guitar tab and a lyric notebook. Ya know. Not stuff for English. She began to make chords in the air, remembering how it would go as she looked down at the book.
Ash smiled then looked up and pulled out a notebook and stared at it blankly. Just as blankly as the page itself.
She reached into her bag and handed him a mechanical pencil wordlessly. "You better take notes cause I'll probably end up needing to copy them later. I have to get this song finished though before tonight." She says as she begins to write away.
Evan blushed a bit and laughed. "Yeah? So that's your plan huh?" He smiled mischievously.

Yuki blushed more and looked panicked. “I! I’m sorry!”
Yuki hid his face. I’m such a mess……..

Evan laughs. A charming laugh. That's how Evan could be described as. Charming. "Hit on the lower class star huh?" He smiled. "Don't worry handsome,I'll take compliments where I can get them." He winked.
When Maddie heard the bell ring, she sent one last quick text -
have 2 go now, class started
and she turned her phone off, casually setting it face-down on the desk. She took out a sketchbook – she never brought lined notebooks and a mechanical pencil. She absolutely hated regular pencils, they just felt weird in her hand when she held them. Maddie looked around for anyone she could sketch – she drew inspiration from the people around her. Finally her gaze landed on Yuki, Evelyn, and Evan. They looked happy. One embarrassed, one giddy, and one… she couldn't tell the emotion of Evelyn. It was half confused… half… interested? This would be interesting. Maddie picked up her pencil and began to sketch the outlines of their faces, one by one.
Yuki smiled and chuckled. “Well then how’s about I get your number, flirty boy?”
Yuki had no fear, what a man.
Ash nodded, "alright, virtuoso, I'll give you the notes and pencil after class then." He said and nodded he started doing the notes as the teacher said. While the teacher explained random things he made small doodles vaguely relating to the notes. He did a picture of a skull and a knife going through one worse and basically leaking into becoming another word.
When the bell rang Melissa looked up waiting for the teacher to start. She started taking notes. Her notes where descriptive and neat like always. She really likes lectures. Other parts of the class could mean talking to others around her.
Yuki smiled and chuckled. “Well then how’s about I get your number, flirty boy?”
Yuki had no fear, what a man.
"No." He said crossing his arms. "I like playing hard to get. Ya gotta work for me." He nods, and began to take notes when the teacher glared at him.
