"Um, bye?" Lucas watched them scrabble down the sidewalk like all the sudden they realized they were late.
"And I'm gonna be late too if the bus doesn't fucking hurry up…." He glanced both ways down the street, and finally saw it stopped at a light a few intersections down. Oh thank God it's actually coming….
Sophie then took a sharp left into a dark alley way suddenly. She sprinted down the alley way and jumped onto a garbage can. She spread her demon wings and flew onto the roof. She hid her wings once again and started to sprint down the buildings roofs.
Roze swung herself back into the bag. “Sophie! Stop! This is way to much!”
Lucas shook his head. "People can be so crazy…" He checked on the bus down the street, and it was coming slowly but surely. Any time now… He ground his teeth together, biting his lip hard.
Lilly glanced at the guy next to her and she nodded, not saying anything.
He looked up at the sky but closed his eyes to give himself a break. What the hell did I just witness? A demon out of Hell with a shapeshifting wolf? What a load of bull…. Lucas shoved his hands back in his pockets, continually waiting. "Any second now would be nice," he muttered under his breath to himself.
"I agree dude.." Lilly looked at the ground and sighed.
Lucas merely glanced over. "Doesn't everyone agree?" He curved his lips into a disappointed frown. The transportation provided by the city was awful, but he had no choice but to use it. This place really needs to get their asses together and fix this issue….
Lilly nodded "I should hope so," she went quiet and grabbed her phone out of her bag, putting her earbuds in and starting her music to drown out the world.
Roze repeaditly screamed at Sophie to slow down but that didn’t do any good. Sophie finally arrived at work and jumped off the roof into an alleyway beside it. She used her wings to get a normal landing and rushing inside work with her wings hid once again.
He just chilled, getting a bit cold the more time he waited for the bus. Dammit, I swear if this happens one more time…..
It finally came up and pulled into the stop, and opened it's doors. An immense amount of people poured out, and soon dispersed among the sidewalk and such. What the fuck?? What's up with all these people???
The lady at the front desk glared at Sophie. “Late again? You seriously need to be faster…”
Sophie sighed. “Sorry… the bus was late and I had to run…”
“Again? That’s a pretty shitty bus…”
Lilly pushed her way through the crowd and sat down on the bus, hoping that the bus would go soon.
Lucas moved on through when the people cleared up, and found a seat near the back of the bus.
The doors closed and the bus began to roll.
There were several people who tried chasing it from the sidewalk, and he called, "Hey, stop!! Some people want to get on!"
But he continued to drive….
Lilly leaned her head back on her seat and closed her eyes, thinking of everything that she still had to do today.
As he noticed that yelling wasn't gonna get his attention, Lucas charged to the front of the bus and grabbed the guy's shoulder. "Hey! I told you to stop!!!"
But after having a good look at the guy, his face was totally blank– with white, empty eyes and a solem face, he was completely unresponsive.
W-What the fuck!!!?
Lilly opened one eye and mumbled "Stop bothering the driver.." she crossed her arms and closed her eyes again.
Lucas didn't hear her, and he shook his shoulder more, "I said stop!!–"
The driver grabbed Lucas' hand with his clammy fingers and rasped in a cold voice, "I know what I'm doing."
This guy has so many problems on so many levels!!! He drew back and just merely rested on the very front seat. He glanced out the windows and the people chasing them finally gave up.
…I told him to stop…
Lilly sighed and shook her head lightly, amazed by this person and their seeming inability to listen.
Sophie was having a full on conversation with this lady. Sophie grew tired of arguing with her, so she walked off and checked in. One minute late… how? Well I guess I’m lucky. Of course then why did I loose my parents to leafs.
Sophie went into her small comfy cubical. While her job wasn’t the best it payed very well and was pretty easy. Plus every Friday they got free cupcakes, who could turn that down?
Lucas tried to relax, but the strangeness of the driver bugged him to no end.
He drove on, not turning at a single intersection until they were clearly outside the city limits, in the middle of nowhere.
Where the fuck…?
"Where the hell are you taking us!!?" He howled, on the edge of his seat.
Lilly finally opened her eyes and looked outside, she sighed "Well, I guess I'm not getting to work on time. My day just got a whole lot easier." she chuckled lightly and watched as the guy flipped out.
"Where you both belong." He answered, still very placid.
Lucas glanced back to see the girl not giving a single fuck in the world. Shit….
They drove along, with the driver being absolutely unstoppable. Lucas had no choice but to try to pull him out of his seat. "If you're not going to drive right, then let someone else do it!"
The bus came to a screeching halt, and Lucas flung forward, slamming his head on the dashboard.
Lilly was jerked forward by the stop and she saw the guy hit his head on the dashboard, she started laughing "That was great," She continued to laugh as she walked up to the guy and the driver to make sure he was ok.
Sophie jolt her head to her bag. She felt a strange force attack her stomach. “Ow… what the hell?”
Roze poked her head out of the bag and grew into a bigger size. “Oh god are you okay Sophie?”
Sophie held her stomach and her face looked a bit green. “I feel like I’m going to be sick…”
Roze began to panic. “Oh shit… um… what do I do?”
Roze looked over and spotted the trash can Sophie used to throw away failed attempts at plans for the company. Roze grabbed it and put it under Sophie’s face. Roze closed the door to seclude the sound. “Okay, now…”
Sophie’s wings grew as Roze closed the blinds on the glass door. Sophie’s hair began to go crazy showing Sophie’s black eye. Sophie began to vomit black like slime into the trash can. It went through the trash can like acid and went through the ground, sinking though it.
Roze stood there in shook watching the vomit disinergrate the ground. “The fuck! Sophie are you serious? I told you to by a titanium trash can not a plastic one you moron!”
Sophie glared at Doze and rubbed the vomit off of her mouth. “Shut the fuck up Roze… it was 76$… I’m not paying that much for a god damn trash can… just get the plaster…”
Roze sighed. “You are so shitty…” she grabbed the plaster from the bag and went over the hole in the ground. She picked the carpet off the ground and replaced it with a new red carpet.
Lucas was barely breathing, let alone barely alive. Fuck…. What the hell is wrong with his guy….? The pang in his head was still strong, and he touched it lightly with his hand. Great…. I…. I'm bleeding…. It wasn't long before the pain was too much to handle, and he went unconscious….
